The Westboro Pigs Church is disgusting
Politicons ^ | March 2nd | Henry D'Andrea

Today the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the anti: American, God, freedom, bravery, church Westboro. The church which has no affiliation to any other Baptist organization, sends members to picket funerals of military servicemen who were killed in action. This isn’t a matter of Liberals Vs. Conservatives anymore. It’s matter of being patriotic. You can be against the war, but desecrating those who fight for us to be able to even have this conversation is wrong.

These soulless Westboro protesting pigs are literally sociopaths. (See video below) They are so delusional, they think god kills soldiers. Their signs such as “Thank god for dead soldiers” or “Thank god for 9/11,” are completely disgusting. They have no respect for anyone but themselves...

Agreed, I wish that they could be disproven for what they are. I feel that they are worse than liberals, because while liberals blame the politicians, these guys take it out on people who followed orders. It’s despicable and beyond contempt in every respect.

They have an organized addiction for drawing attention to themselves. If no one paid attention them all this hoopla would fade away.

Didn’t somebody come up with Phelps being a registered Dem?

IMO, they exist solely to discredit Christianity and I would bet money they’re all Dems/libs and probably not even Christian.

I think they’re agent provocateurs.

In the wake of a SCOTUS ruling that is unfortunate but understandable, I believe that they are about to get more attention than they anticipated. I don’t think they’re going to be happy about the sort of attention they’ve attracted.

He is more than just that, he ran for Governor as a Democrat.

Want to see media bias in action?

Who can remember the articles that sort of loosely connect these freaks with Baptists at large?

Who can remember the portrayal as if they are conservative?

Here's the peak of irony, Phelps is a card carrying Democrat and ran for offices as such long before much of this drew national attention. To the leftist media it is literally this simple:

Did it fail, look or feel bad? Blame Bush, Christianity and the Republicans or a patriarchal society.

Did it succeed, look or feel good? Obama, a government program or some progressive paradigm is the reason.

Go right down the list on the issues, feel bad = conservative, feel good = liberal.

Economy
War in Iraq.... until it turned around, then of course that too became Obama’s doing
Health care
debt
Afghanistan
You pick the issue and CNN, MSNBC, Newsweek, Time, the NYTs will simple write everything with this blatant they good those bad perspective. Why even call them news anymore?

Theres nothing at all understandable about it. What definition of free speech is designed to protect the right to laugh, dance, sing and celebrate the death of a child,,, as the childs parents are literally burying him.

If the right to say anything, anywhere is so holy,, can we now make the most minor joke about bombs at airports? Can we say wear a “fu@k Obama” shirt to a rally? You DO know that even wearing a T-shirt that is obnoxious towards Bush, Obama, or any president will get you removed from a rally. Are we now allowed to pray at the supreme court steps?

The supremes have made it official,,, the little people have to tolerate ANY insult no matter how depraved. Politicians cannot be insulted or molested.

Perhaps this will be successful http://cjonline.com/news/2011-02-28/generals-complaint-targets-phelps-lawyers

Nine retired USAF Generals have filed a complaint with state regulators for disbarment of 10 lawyers who are members of the “church”.

My 9-year old son, a news junkie even at that young age caught the story tonight on the news and was confused as to why they said God loves dead soldiers. After a few minutes explaining to my son what a crazy cult this is and how Satin himself works through these vermin in the same way he worked through a snake in the Garden of Eden. He understood – but it got me wondering how many young and innocent or ill-informed people watch the same thing and thing they are a legitimate church, and with nobody to set them straight.

I pray that God will intervene and put a stop somehow to these creeps who blasphemy his name by saying he is a Hateful God not a Loving God. .

How could they have been provocateurs, if the people at the funeral were not even aware of their presence, until they saw them on TV later that evening?

They will be thrilled with whatever coverage they get. They love getting attention, even negative attention. That's like cocaine to them.

One thing, beside some of my family members who apparently wish me dead, without ever saying so, that I cannot for the life of me understand.
