It worked so well in Canada, didn’t it?

It’s a marvelous testimony of Americans’ good nature that more politicians aren’t shot.

You can tell your father he won’t be alone.

This is the fourth attempt to pass this legislation with previous efforts being in 08,09,10. Each time it appears that the bill didn’t get out of committee. I doubt that this effort will have any traction either. Having said that, one must be aware that anything can happen, especially in NYS Government. This bill is worthy of a letter or phone call to your state Senator or Assembly person. This bill, if passed into law, would impact literally thousands of law abiding citizens, and recreational gun owners. This is how FASCISM works. I know in my neck of the woods there are going to be a lot of new criminals if this thing gets passed into law. I believe one of the sponsors is Eric Adams, State Senator from Brooklyn, formerly of “100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care”, an ex-cop, NYPD and Sharpton affiliate.
Write a letter or make a phone call.

“Who in their right mind would even go there to visit and spend money there?”

I have many relatives in New York and visit them every year.
I get to see the situation there up close and to hear many stories about how bad things have gotten.

We should swap out all of New England for Alberta.

I've several times proposed partitioning New York State at the Croton Reservoir (Chappaqua is south of the Croton) and the middle of the Hudson River and heaving downstaters and all of New England out of the Union. They've been a source of nothing but malcontent, taxes, socialist b.s., and civil war since 1789. And did I mention debt, financial fraud on a planet-beggaring scale, and cynicism to stagger Machiavelli?

Swapping that dog's breakfast of left-wing States and cities to the Canadians in exchange for the prairie provinces, the Yukon, and B.C. sounds like a dream deal. Too bad the Canadians are too intelligent to take it. Ontario-hoovians might fall for it, though.

I once did some crude arithmetic and figured we'd be unloading 30,000,000 mostly left-wing socialist Democrats on the Canadians and would receive something like 4,000,000 mostly moderate-Democrat middle-of-the-roaders in return. We could sweeten the deal by shipping them Princeton, Cornell, Georgetown, and the entire populations of D.C., Seattle, Gay Bay, Detroit, and Chicago. The rest we could deal with.

We could resettle the Chicagoans by the shores of Hudson's Bay. They wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

As for firearms registration, substitute the words "Negro", "uterus", or "Jew" for "firearms", and see how constitutional New York's scheme sounds then.

No less than Bill Clinton credited NRA with making the difference in Algore’s losing presidential campaign.

That election was so close, everybody can claim credit.

(Even the absentee voters in California whose votes were left uncounted, and the military and naval absentee votes that I heard were ordered dumped overboard by Slick Willie.)

Good plan but one would apparently have to throw in Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester and possibly a couple of other 'rat "townships".

(I grew up in the hinterlands of Upstate, and it was GOOD (then)).

Well, Ithaca would go with Cornell, right?

As for the rest, I think there are enough conservatives living in the Mohawk Valley to give a conservative a halfway-decent chance to stand for office, and a voice in public affairs. Which is drowned out now by the downstaters.

What would be fun is watching the Big Apple and Boston wither, after their blood-funnels into American life and business are finally cut off. No more vamping on the rest of the country, so sad.

I have a hard time dealing with the requirement for more densely populated areas needing support from more sparsely populated places. One would think that there should be greater efficiencies associated with closer proximity and greater specialization. Obviously, other factors dominate.

I always really liked Rochester! Mr. Benny would not have had a show without him.

It’s not a “Constitutional” right...it’s inalienable right.

One that you have regardless of what some Marxist punk judge, legislator, or city, county, or state executive says.

Molon Labe bitches!

Yep...I was trying to head off the NRA naysayers, somewhat, before that whole wave got going...

They had a bit on this just a little while ago on FoxNews...Judge Nepalitano nailed it to the wall...

Like I said, wither way people are going to get killed because of this, if it ever comes to implementation...

The blood will be on this AG’s head...
