I am not in favor of Sharia. I oppose Islam and its spread. I do not, however, like what I saw in the videos of this event.
One man does not constitute a rally, and the means by which the people present addressed the issue was tasteless and a horrible representation of both Christianity and the U.S.
Some are claiming it was a set-up, that the whole “rally 4 sharia” thing was to get people riled up so that they would go and do exactly what they did, creating yet more material to spread via the internet that discredits and damages both conservatives and Christians. I think that’s a little silly, as far as conspiracy theories go, but it’s not far from what ended up happening.
Sorry, flame me all you want. I’m not defending Islam. I’ve been very vocal about my opposition. But I certainly think the behavior exhibited here was beneath our “camp,” and will only galvanize our enemy. It would have been MUCH better to stay the hell away from the guy, but within eyesight and earshot, instead of swarming him.
Seems like the conservative protests reported here of late have been petulant in nature.
I’m glad to hear you say that. Seems like a put-on to me. Sharia?
It may very well galvanize the radical Muslims, but it also shows that we will not roll over RINO style and just let the creep of Islam radicals and our own leftist ruin our Country. We have got to stand up, be heard and non-violently push back. Everyone there understands this.
[Mr] T
BTW, Islam is not a religion.
Contrary to you, I would have preferred paint guns and anything else to get these vermin movin'...
These people are advocating a take over of our country whereby they can rape your children and kill off the rest of your family if your family doesn't turn to Izlam...
And then they will rape the little muzlim boys kill the women at their pleasure...
No thanks...I'm not going to sit there and be complacent when these bottom feeders try to take over my country...
Could you please post the videos?
Gosh, what happened that was so bad? Please tell...

Permit me to say, as both a Patriot AND a Preacher of Christ Jesus, that I second your sentiments on this whole occasion. Muslims PLAYED these Christians. And, these people, no matter how sincere they were, went overboard in screaming “Jesus!” over one Muslim man praying quietly in front of the White House.
I KNOW what radical Islam is. I pull no punches in condemning it, and in insisting that our nation must fight it — because it surely means to destroy us. However, this Muslim man was doing NOTHING illegal. He had the liberty to pray, according to his conscience, and that is a sacred right in THIS nation. What Christians did by DISRUPTING his was the SIN here. And not only did it portray Americans as hypocrites, but it portrayed Christians as haters. NEITHER is to be the case.
Don’t be drawn into that kind of foolishness! Jesus isn’t a chant to shout Muslims down. And just as WE ought to have the right to pray on the sidewalks of our Capitol, so should those of other religions as well. Now, had Choudary and his bunch shown up and been demanding Shari’a Law, THAT would have been something Patriotic Americans COULD have rightly counter-protested. But it turned out to be a “trap.”
Perhaps it’s BETTER, as noted in your previous post, to STAY AWAY from such rallies than to go to counter-protest and be drawn in by anger and indignation to appear hateful and actually SERVE their purposes and provide them with the ammunition THEY want.
