The documentary filmmaker was in Wisconsin yesterday, slamming Republicans for cutting union benefits.
Michael Moore has a message for Wisconsinites:
Contrary to what those in power would like you to believe -- so that you'll give up your pension, cut your wages, and settle for the life your great-grandparents had -- America is not broke.
The claim came at the beginning of a speech delivered by the documentary filmmaker and liberal firebrand at the Wisconsin State Captiol yesterday. Over the course of 30 minutes, Moore railed against Republicans, who he accused of misleading the American public when they claim that government can't afford to spend money on expenditures like pensions and union wages. You can watch the entire speech below.

State financial reports of wealth and assets hidden from the public which taxpayers paid for.
Celebrity NetWorth thinks $50 million

Why post this nonsense because the states do have much wealth HIDDEN from the public.
Give me your money you fat freak; I’m smarter than you and I deserve it more.
Is there a link or links to see what you’re talking about?
Sure, just read your state CAFR or contact walterburien@cafr1.com to help you.
Michael Moore is: """such an a$$h0Ie!"""
Of course the states aren’t broke. Seriously, unlike you or me, they simply go get more money from the taxpayers when they have fiscal problems.
The point Moore is making is insidious, though, because like the rest of the MSM he’s claiming that the states can just get more money from The Rich, as if the rich keep it in underground caves. I have no illusions about the rich, but I also know that when the rich are taxed, they don’t buy things that the non-rich make.
This is all about the same thing 90% of everything liberals go on about, which is that they think they can control wealth better than those who know how to earn it in a capitalist economy.
The fact is, the rich don’t love you and they’re not benevolent, but the system is such that in order to make money they have to circulate it in the economy—which is what makes the economy HAPPEN.
Michael Moore doesn’t grasp this. Like Oscar talking about gravy in THE ODD COUPLE, he thinks money just “comes” when you want it. (Gravy, there ya go, Mike.)
Moore thinks making sour-faced rich cliches hand over piles of money to smiling poor people is fun. It has nothing to do with reality, but that hasn’t stopped him from making those science fiction movies he calls ‘documentaries,’ so why should it stop him now?
Read your state CAFR report and I bet you will have a different take on states REAL wealth.
I am sure it was touching....

MM: As long as there is a functioning business in America, we are not broke. As long as there is a productive working taxpayer in this country, we are not broke. As long as there are bank accounts and piggy banks we are not broke.... we must have it all, every last penny!

Michael Moore's liberal elite - multimillionaire who puts on a baseball cap and pretends to be working class. His dream of us being like Europe - going broke with programs we can't afford, kowtowing to Islamists, and printing money like wild seems to be coming true.
Reminds me of another fat, delusional slob named Bernanke.
Thanks for that.
it has always amazed that a no talent goofball like Moore, in the only country on earth that would pay any attention to him at all, hates the U.S. with a venom that even most of our enemies don't have. He has to be a very sad person
No, thanks; I just ate! Damned overfed socialist scumbag hypocrite.
Damned selfish rich people, sitting on all that money that we could use! They need to put some of it back into the economy!

I believe that's where he "learned" his economic theories.
