Joe Biden update: Now, he takes lead on budget talks too; what's left for Obama?

What isn't Joe Biden in charge of these days?
For someone who was brought on board the presidential train in 2008 to lend some experienced gravitas to the ex-state senator savior's ticket and add a humorous effing gaffe here and there, the vice president seems to be running most everything these days for this Democratic White House.
Everyone remembers Biden's crucial congressional role in smoothing the way for the vast stimulus spending bill two years ago because President What's-His-Name was busy finalizing his plans to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.

Joe was also put in charge of talking up the 2010 Recovery Summer.
Biden explained that, after an unfortunate but certainly understandable slow start due to the depth of the economic hole bequeathed by the Texan, the Obama stimulus spending bill was sure to produce hundreds of thousands of new jobs per month last summer.
Joe also predicted that grateful Americans would retain Democratic majority control in both houses of Congress.

Yeah, whatever happened to that? Jokin' Joe promised 500,000 jobs PER MONTH! Just chalk it up to just another Hussein fail? Awfully expensive one.
Well at least 1 Top Tier person in the Obama Administration is trying to look like he is concerned for the American people. Maybe he’s working on that image in case an Impeachment took place...
There's little doubt "the Gaffer" would be an improvement over "the Bamster."
Everyone relax. The budget is now in the capable hands of the Vice President.

Perhaps, but I’d rather see Plugs in there shooting himself in the foot and undermining his own progress vs this guy who seems to be having great success in tearing apart the nation.

So why Plugs - and not Hillary?
If even ONE “serious player” stood up and did something/ran the meetings that talked about doing something, and maybe Biden actually did recognize that “somebody” had to actually do that, why did he fill a vacuum when Hillary did not?
How could he fill the vacuum so fast that he got in before Hillary stuck her head/foot/arm/leg in?
If Obama were knocked out of office, it goes to Biden, then Speaker of House Boehner, President Pro Tempore of Senate Inouye, then Sec of State Clinton.
Is Obama golfing this weekend?
