I watched a bit of this woman on fox the other night. I could only stomach her for a very few minutes. Why is anyone giving this woman any air time at all is beyond me.

Wondering what Wallace’s ratings were with her on the program, as “freak shows” are quite popular throughout history.

Margie Phelps is one sick and twisted lunatic. Chris Wallace asked her during the same interview, if there was a moral difference between al Qaeda terrorist and U.S. Soldiers, and which is worse, and she said U.S. soldiers are by far worse, and ranted about how evil they were.
I find it hard to believe a human being can hold that much hatred and not explode, literally.

Is Phelps really an ordained minister? Is the Westboro Baptist Church a real place of worship or just a place for kooks to hang out?

There is a duty of every human to bring forth fruit meet for repentance, she added. I have seen no evidence of that in a single leader in that nation. Note even in Algore, Fred Phelps' old friend?

The main question is: If the WBC is so against homosexuality, why don’t you see them protesting at gay events?
Answer: The issue isn’t homosexuality.

Is everyone aware that these freaks are liberals? They are all democrats. In fact, Fred Phelps ran for office several times as a democrat. Even more interesting is their close association with Al Gore. Phelps was a supporter of his 2008 presidential campaign, and his son was a delegate to the democrat convention that year (and voted for Gore).
You would never know any of this from media coverage, but once you know the background, you suddenly notice that strangely the media never mention ANY political affiliation for this group. Isn't that interesting? If the Westboro idiots were conservatives and registered Republicans, I think it's pretty safe to say that the media would repeat that fact endlessly. The fact that they are mute on this point speaks volumes.

I wonder if the people in that church ever ran across the Bible verse that says “in the same way you judge others, you will be judged”. These folks better really live holy lives or they will be in for a real surprise.

If
(1) the Supremes truly believe in what the SCOTUS has ruled in the past about “community standards” and “constitutional limitations” on “free speech” rights concerning pornography,
then,
(2) given that the Phelps church can, legally and legitimately take their “protest” to a “publicly permitted” venue - a public venue the local authorities give them a permit for (which would not limit “speech” but only its venue - which is often the case when it comes to the government’s own property)
then
(3) certainly NO LESS than “community standards” should be allowed to keep them away from the funerals of our fallen soldiers.
And besides, what is more “pornographic” than the extremist view of the Phelps-church cult??
