Rep. Waxman: Climate Change is 'Moral Issue' Comparable To Civil Rights Monday, March 07, 2011 By Eric Scheiner
(CNSNews.com) - During a speech at the Center for American Progress Monday, Rep. Henry Waxman claimed that climate change is a moral issue while criticizing the GOP for their attempts to eliminate the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.
The ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee said Republicans have adopted anti-science views and compared the climate change issue to the debate in America on civil rights.
Climate change is an environmental issue, its an economic issue, but its also fundamentally a moral issue. We have an opportunity to act now to forestall great harm to our nation and to the world. We had that kind of issue at other times in our history, we had it during the civil rights debate, the member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee said.
Waxman added, If we dont act on this challenge we will not meet our moral ability to shape our future. We will not meet our moral obligation to our children and future generations.

‘RATS like the Waxman usually compare these things to D-Day or the Battle of the Bulge. What’s going on with this “civil rights” crap?

Why is that my first impulse is always to blow coffee out my nose when I hear of a Democrat talking about morality?

When Waxman eventually quits congress, he has real possibilities as a stand-up.

A slime mold has 10x the IQ of “Nostrilitis” Waxman.
Senator, you have the only job that’s tolerant of abysmal ignorance.
Your position was created by God in order to allow complete t*rds to avoid starvation.
Shut up and do your normal senatorial corruption and LEAVE THOSE OF US WHO ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND SCIENCE ALONE.

"During a speech at the Center for American Progress Monday, Rep. This is why the Democrat party can never be in a position to be able to enact their agenda unabated ever again. It is also why the Senate leadership and Presidency needs to rip from their hands as well. As a whole they are crazy and that is putting a positive spin on it.
