NPR executives caught on tape bashing conservatives and Tea Party, touting liberals
The Daily Caller ^ | 03/08/2011 | Matthew Boyle

A man who appears to be a National Public Radio senior executive, Ron Schiller, has been captured on camera savaging conservatives and the Tea Party movement.

“The current Republican Party, particularly the Tea Party, is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian – I wouldn’t even call it Christian. It’s this weird evangelical kind of move,” declared Schiller, who runs NPR’s foundation.

In a new video released Tuesday morning by conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe, Schiller and Betsy Liley, NPR’s director of institutional giving, are seen meeting with two men who, unbeknownst to the NPR executives, are posing as members of a Muslim Brotherhood front group. The men, who identified themselves as Ibrahim Kasaam and Amir Malik from the fictitious Muslim Education Action Center (MEAC) Trust, met with Schiller and Liley at Café Milano, a well-known Georgetown restaurant, and explained their desire to give to $5 million to NPR because, “the Zionist coverage is quite substantial elsewhere.”

That’s good news!

For all, here is the full, raw video. Note the meeting doesn’t start until the 6.15 mark.

But, but, but, the man is an “elite”! I heard him say so himself! We should admire him and wish we were him!

NPR Cans Ronald Schiller
Posted Tuesday, March 08, 2011 5:34 PM | By David Weigel

That, from the new statement from NPR’s Dana Rehm, is the shoe that took all day to drop. The entire statement, which also clarifies that Schiller decided to leave before the sting occurred:

supposedly no relation

Folks who watched and listened to Ron suspect he’s upset with flaming Christians who intrude into his life by not embracing his marrying another guy

“Haven’t been many bootleg-related murders since 1933”.

deaths from alcohol- including drunk driving- especially teenage deaths- don’t count?

yeah just make drugs legal and let parents then argue with kids about how harmful they are. Cut those legs right out from under us.

Support James O’Keefe.

Project Veritas Investigates:

NPR
Mar 8 2011

Project Veritas’ latest investigation focuses on the publically-funded media organization, National Public Radio. PV investigative reporters, Shaughn Adeleye and Simon Templar posed as members of the Muslim Action Education Center, a non-existent group with a goal to “spread the acceptance of Sharia across the world.”

In this first video, produced by James O’Keefe, Shaughn and Simon sit down with NPR Foundation President Ron Schiller.

I’m talking MURDER.

And the drinking was actually heavier under prohibition. The “forbidden fruit” thing.

People are both drunk and high on the roads all the time. No legislation seems to change that. Only police repression might.

We’ve been in a “war on drugs” for what, 25 years?

It’s not working out very well on any front. Might as well toss in the towel and admit that there is no way we can really legislate morality.

If this is true these effin traitors ought to be dragged out of their homes and hung. Scumbags. Selling out their own country for profit. This is the enemy.

Can’t be. Just yesterday NPR was declaring there was no liberal bias at NPR.

LOL, good one.

The only people who have any reason to fear “white, middle-America gun-toting” are the people who wish this country ill.

And the stereotypes of conservatives as racists/uneducated are getting old.

NPR’s mad about the funding comments. They ALL hate the Tea Party more than Schiller. Schiller talked the liberal talk... Really - am I the only person who knows a few liberals?

“What happens when a lib is found here, or a gay friendly freeper? They are banned.”

Yes, and our biases and preferences are put up front, we are a traditional Conservative site.

NPR claims to be bias-free, open-minded, reasonable and tolerant. If so they would not ban someone for suggesting that some muslims are to be feared, they’d just state a different pov for “balance” like they so often do for other issues.

Mr. Ron Schiller (any relation to Vivian Schiller?)

According to NPR they are not related:
