Korea Saw Longest Cold Snap in 28 Years
Korea experienced the longest cold snap in 28 years this winter, the Korea Meteorological Administration said Tuesday. Temperatures lower than those of average years affected the nation for 38 days over the three-month period.
Temperatures from December to February averaged -0.4 degrees Celsius, 1.2 degrees colder than in average years. The average high and low temperatures stood at 5.1 degrees and -5.3 degrees, 1.2 degrees and 1.4 degrees lower than normal. The number of days with a morning low of -10 degrees or colder was 18.6, while for 17.8 days the mercury remained below 0 degree all day long, the fifth longest since 1973.
On Jan. 16, the morning low in the southeastern port city of Busan plunged to -12.8 degrees, the coldest since 1915. The KMA attributed the long chill to cold air masses pushed southward from the North Pole since mid-December last year.
Maybe they should pay to fly the ‘Profit’(eer) Algore there to explain to the citizens how it was caused by anthropogenic global warming.
I didn’t know Algore spent so many days in Seoul.

This year’s cold is caused by glo-bull warming!

We got 1/2” of snow in Busan. Shut down nearly everything that day.
