Eric Woolson, a top aide to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (Ark.) in the 2008 Iowa caucuses, has signed on with former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty for the coming 2012 contest, according to two sources familiar with the decision

Went to high school with Eric. He’s a good man.

I think Huckabee plans to either sit this one out entirely or is hoping the other candidates damage each other so much that he can jump in at the last minute and grab the nomination. He really hasn't been acting much like a candidate though (visiting early primary states, raising money) and he does seem to enjoy his show on Fox.
