The New York Times dragged a big fat red herring across its front page yes terday, announcing that House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Pete King -- whose hearings on Islamist extremism open in Washington today -- was once upon a time a supporter of the Irish Republican Army.

The Hearing begins at 0930 Hrs C-Span3.
Unfortunately, the IRA thing should cling to Peter King. I admire his guts in going after Islamic terrorists but he was real soft on Irish violence. I knew it would come back to haunt him.
Mr King’s organisations sent money for weapons to the IRA, back in the 90s.
I agree with his stand on Islam in America and will back it...but he is soiled goods in my mind....and an Anti-gunner to boot...
Will someone please bring up the fact the Coptic Christians are being wiped out by the Eygptian army and who is telling them to do it? I stand strong with Rep.King, as we all should well be, or lie on the ground without our heads.
It is no exaggeration to say that the New York Times is a communist propaganda machine.
That’s all they are.
The Kennedys including Ted were also supporters of the IRA,,,,,Quick! Quick! Fall on your knees! Bow!
