Palin vs Obama would be like Reagan vs Carter. Shining city on a hill vs doom and gloom malaise, depression and fear. Life vs death. Freedom vs socialism and slavery. Good vs pure evil. It’ll be a landslide.

Confirming that she's the one they fear the most.

Good point, but at this point four years ago, "the one we feared most" was Hillary Rodham, and how'd that work out for us?

Glad to see you're feeling better.

RE :”She hasn’t been in the news much lately, except to respond to Kathy Griffin’s threat to harass her daughter, Willow

Ground zero is with Walker in WI. That is where the country is being saved.

Publicly fighting with some stand-up comedian might get her something but it's not the WH. Did you notice FNC suspended Santorum and Newt but not Palin? They know what their employees are up to.

I hope the FR PDS'ers aren't popping the champagne corks just yet. There are many miles left to travel on this road.

The PDS dogs bark and the Sarah caravan moves on.

If there was any doubt that the MSM still wields a considerable amount of influence, this story should dispel it. The media slant against Palin has been overwhelming and it's obviously had an effect.

This doesn't mean anything for Palin in 2012 yet. She has an uphill battle, but there are no impressive candidates in the GOP field waiting to block her path. Ronald Reagan overcame equally vicious media coverage. But Reagan didn't have the twin TMZ-fodder burdens of Bristol Palin and her baby daddy, both of whom have lowered Palin's prestige and gravitas with their relentless attraction to trashy media spotlights.

I’m SURE that Sarah would have supported TARP and mortgage schemes, apart from being Juan’s running mate. Bob

I think it’s really just a matter of people not liking her personality mostly.

I agreed the the poll means nothing giving such a sample and I agree Palin is the one they fear most..

However, they do not fear Palin the person, they fear what she represent and what movement she can create.

I can’t believe I’m actually saying this out loud, but it is my opinion that “in the long run” Senator Rodham would have been preferable to Senator Hussein.

I bet they polled the usual suspects, SEIU and ACORN members, and let’s not forget the ones who are already dearly departed, the ones that always end up voting Democrat for some reason

A Bloomberg poll...meaning orchestrated by Mayor Bloomberg, a stinking RINO with Presidential ambitions...says Palin is bad. Gee, what’s an unbiased source like NPR have to say, I wonder?

A couple of libs I know hate her. It is almost funny, the foaming and frothing.
When you ask them why, they have reasons. For instance the quotes they give were all Tena Fey’s from SNL or they heard something from someone else.
If you make a statement that Gov Palin has made and ask them what they think, they are usually “well makes sense”. When you tell them its Gov Palin’s, I swear have the vapors.

Hating Sarah is fashionable. I will support her and vote for her if she is our nominee. I think she’d make a great President.

But, I don’t think this poll is a lie, and supporters may as well admit it’s a problem. It’s not a deserved problem, but it’s a problem nonetheless.

One of the political talkers pointed out that Palin has had a very hostile press, whereas other Republican contenders haven’t. That affects current polling.

The talker asks what will happen as we move into the competition and the other contenders get more scrutiny and criticism, and probably Palin will be a pleasant surprise to many of her current current non-fans.

Having looked more at the poll sample, I’ll agree that the percentage of haters is probably lower than that.

It’s still going to be a significant number, in a decent poll with a likely voter sample, though, so I think that needs to be acknowledged as reality instead of flat denied.

I have no ax to grind. I just think victory is more likely if we are honest about the real state of things.

So far, I think that Palin is almost the only one that I can trust. There may be a few others that aren’t really on the radar yet, but of the candidates that are being talked about, Palin and Michelle Bachman are the only two that have demonstrated that they have unshakable core beliefs that guide them.
