Madison — After an epic month of political struggle and three final hours of bitter debate, Republican lawmakers in the Assembly on Thursday gave Gov. Scott Walker his bill to repeal most collective bargaining by public employee unions. ...snip... Often massive demonstrations at the Capitol have been daily occurrences since Feb. 15, drawing the focus of the nation, and organizers say they look for tens of thousands to attend a rally on Saturday expected to include Democratic senators who fled to Illinois last month.

Sat would be a good time to arrest them.

Breaking: 14 Democrats given until 4 p.m. to return or be 'apprehended ... with or without force'

I like it that The urinal-sentinal can't bring themselves to capitalize "Walker Wins" in the headline.

They should lock them in the Capital Bathrooms and give them a tooth brush to scrub the urinals.

What grounds are they proposing the recalls? That the Republicans showed up for work and did what the voters elected them to do? Besides the money the dems need to raise they need to get 100s of thousands signatures. Good luck with that sore losers.

I reckon with Soros/DNC/OFA/SEIU money behind them they’ll get enough signatures to force some recall elections. But things will cool down, even thugs will go back to work or to pick up their welfare check or whatever and this will be a memory when those elections come, if they do. Then there’s no reason to think that voters who flipped both houses of the legislature, the governorship and their US senate seat from D to R will have changed their minds. On the contrary, they may even be seeing some positive signs by then, and other states will have followed their lead.

In other words I think these RATS who are babbling about recalls are talking right through their anal orifices.

These suckers aren’t letting my posts through, so my last zinger is:

“Yea, well I waited, no post, so I guess the moderator of this board had a union goon standing with a baseball bat tapping your kneecap in warning.”

I think you are correct -- the numbers are not in their favor, and We the People are tired of their terrorist tactics.

Public Union Membership in Numbers

~ By: Larry Walker, Jr. ~

In terms of raw numbers, local government union members stand to be crushed, or perhaps just eaten. There are roughly 14 million unemployed Americans who would love to have local government service jobs, minus collective bargaining. Perhaps the media should poll the unemployed. The bottom line is that it’s better to be gainfully employed than unemployed. Advice to local government employed union members: W ork with your duly elected government officials, or kiss your jobs goodbye .

Out of 124 million Americans who are still employed (excluding the incorporated self-employed), only 14.7 million (or 11.9%) are members of unions.

Total Non-Union vs. Union Employees

Out of the 14.7 million union members, 7.6 million (or a majority of 51.8%) are government employees.

Government Sector Union Members

Out of the 7.6 million government employees who are members of unions, 4.7 million (or a majority of 61.3%) are local government employees, while 1.9 million (or 25.8%) are state government employees.

State & Local Government Union Members

Out of 124 million Americans who are still employed (excluding the incorporated self-employed), only 4.7 million (or just 3.8%) are local government employed union members.

Local Government Union Members

In terms of numbers, local government employed union members, those who are complaining the most, only represent 3.8% of all American workers (excluding the incorporated self-employed), 3.0% of the roughly 151 million American taxpayers, and 1.5% of the total population. We believe there is more empathy among Americans for the 9.0% of the labor force who are unemployed, and the millions more who have dropped out of the workforce , than there is for local government employed union members. In other words, the pink slips are in the mail.

While the Dems up for recall will have lots of money to defend themselves, the Rebublicans will not. Winners and losers will depend on turn out.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if all the Repubs win and all the Demns lose?
