The moon is on its closest approach to earth in more than a decade increasing tidal strains on the earth’s crust. They’re calling it a “Super Moon”...

Near the next full moon coming up it is supposed to be at its closest - and create the most extreme tidal stresses...

So if something is near the edge of slipping, the added tidal stresses can push it over the edge... The next month or so could be pretty nasty...

I live in Central California about 30 miles from the San Andreas fault and I’m nervous...

Someone posted that it will be on the 19th. Is that accurate as far as you know?
