Nuke Plants normally have a 3x safety factor with quadruple redundancies.
Precautions are absolutely sane to take, but I think everyone is getting a feeling that these are close calls.
Bad press for the nuke industry but if they didn’t do it, they would be castigated. I am sure they have it well in hand.
I hope so, I can't take much more of the "SHAME...SHAME...SHAME" "HEY HEY HO HO" crowd after the excellent job Gov. Walker did in Wisconsin recently.
