Is a pizza about to push Mika Brzezinski over the edge?
Seriously. Her frantic reaction to finding her daughter and friends sharing a Domino's has me worried about Mika's state of mind.
Regular Morning Joe viewers know that Mika's dream job would be as Kommissar of the Food Police. Her concern about obesity, particularly of the childhood variety, is commendable. But her solutions--heavy-handed government intervention of the sort Mayor Bloomberg has made infamous--would flout individual liberties.
Things came to a deep-fried denouement this morning, as a quasi-hysterical Brzezinski described her horror at discovering girls . . . eating pizza.

She was horrified that her daughter had ordered a bunch of crap from Dominos to which I say who’s running the show at Mika’s house? are the inmates running the prison? Mika?
This woman is insane.................and so is Joe.............
I’m less worried about the way people eat, than about how they think.
I wonder if these companies are using this regime's current push against obesity as an excuse to keep prices high and reduce product size.
Joe was slurping on a huge coffee/milkshake something while she was spazzing out, that was funny.....

Let her go over the edge... and take everyone at MSLSD with her. A long hospital stay will do America just fine!
If you have teens, at some point you have to start letting them make decisions for themselves. They still need a parent watching over them but it is natural and necessary that they start making their own day to day decisions.
A daughter deciding to eat pizza with their friends instead of sprouts and bead curd is natural and shouldn’t cause an emotional breakdown. With teens, you need to choose your battles.
Unfortunately from her perspective, eating the pizza is probably worse than catching the group naked with sex toys.
Hey Mika, a better way is to teach your kids to like exercise & activity. Hiking, biking, fishing, camping, etc. are far more interesting to kids than tofu & rice cakes. I realize your hair & makeup are gonna take a hit, but hey, it's for the kids. Spend a week with Sarah Palin working the fishnets, & leave the tofu back in NYC.
I am horrified to learn that Mika has procreated. The US gene puddle has definitely taken an unrecoverable hit.
Wonder if Mika B is suffering from Bulimia so seeing her daughter have a pizza to her mind is like doing Heroin?

I found it funny that all the men she was talking to were saying things like “Can we place an order?” and identifying by name the items she was describing.

Maybe she be arrested for Reckless Child Endangerment and then DSS should take her children into protective custody.
How would she feel if a teacher took her daughter to a Pizza Clinic without Mika’s knowledge or permission.
What happened to her daughter’s “Right to Choose”?
Mika ought to take a look at what happened to Cher and Sonny’s daughter. She became a he and is about 100 lbs. overweight.
Perhaps Mika was concerned about the unauthorized use of her credit card?
