I have read that boric acid will slow down a nuclear reaction.
Since boric acid is the primary constituent of Roach Prufe, we should all send them a bottle........
“Meanwhile, people are golfing, shopping, dining out, etc in other parts of Japan. Americans seem more worried via the news media than the Japanese. Also reported cleanup had already begun.”
The biggest disaster since WWII and 3 nuclear power plants in trouble, are no joke.
They know more than we do..about nuclear energy. They practice it and we dabble in it.
Go for the positive and hope or pray for the best.
I don't rank catastrophes or disasters. You forgot forget 9/11 or Haiti, or the Holocaust..

some background for you..in case you missed it..
There are 104 operating nuclear reactors in the U.S., which constitute 20% of our energy production...that’s more than just dabbling, but yes, the Japanese are quite capable. The particular Japanese reactors in question however were built by G.E.
information MIT more reliable than MSM
It's more than that in regard to dabbling per se, it's location and adaptation to extreme seismic conditions historically in the location such as the Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear reactor center
