Top-ranking Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer is urging Republican House Speaker John Boehner to ditch the Tea Party and join a coalition that includes Democrats to work around conservative lawmakers on spending cuts.
It is becoming clear that the path to a bipartisan budget deal may not go through the Tea Party at all. In order to avert a shutdown, Speaker Boehner should consider leaving the Tea Party behind and instead seek a consensus in the House among moderate Republicans and a group of Democrats, the New Yorker said in a written statement.

We don't want consensus, we want demonRAT capitulation and surrender.
Save the Nation, take some public money away from a demonRAT, watch them shrivel and die.

I wonder how much Mr. Boehner wants to keep his job as Speaker and Congresscritter?

Moderate republicans = socialists
Boehner = moderate republican
The republican leadership doesn’t cave to the socialist democrats, they are socialist republicans.

I am surprised you didn't get the email...It happened 20 years ago when he was first elected. Ever since then he has pursued the Republican party's socialist policies hopping some day to grow up and be accepted as a full fledged Democrat (communist)....20 years in DC gives you a strong grounding on “me-first” survival strategies and a boatload of ways to marginalize newbies (i.e. the tea-party, who is about to get its a.. handed to it.).
Sshummer is just having some fun with him..he's the pappa cat playing with the mouse. Schummer of course has been here longer and knows exactly where the Republicans (socialists) will end up.

meanwhile the latest generic ballot poll shows Republicans with a 46% to 37% lead over Democrats
We are winning.
And if Obama wasn't black and wasn't having his poll numbers propped up by racist blacks, 2012 would be shaping up as another blood bath for Democrats.

The Tea party is one party and the now communist dems and the infiltrated repubicans is the other.
