A Democratic lawmaker in Nevada has introduced a bill that would outlaw air fresheners and candles in public places. But some critics said the proposed law goes too far and would even prohibit priests from using candles in Mass.
Democratic Assembly Paul Aizley, from Las Vegas, presented his bill Monday. It would set restrictions on pesticides, fragrances, and candles to accommodate people with chemical sensitivities.

A Democratic lawmaker in Nevada This douche needs to have his office broken into some dark and stormy night, and FILLED with lit scented candles in jars (so they don't burn the joint down). He'll get the message.

sounds like another piece of below-the-belt anti-Catholic Church legislation to me

Per the law of unintended consequences, what then will we use to get rid of the stench of corruption democratic lawmakers leave behind?

Liberalism kills far more many people than air fresheners and candles ever could. (actually, I've never even heard of anyone dying from a candle or an air freshener) Nutcases like this guy shouldn't be allowed in public, much less serve the public. Of course, democrats or much more self-serving than they are public servants anyway.

I have a sensitivity—I’m extremely adversely affected by progressive idiots. Wonder if someone would make a law like the candle one, to accommodate me?

When are we going to have enough of these sons of bitches and just stop them cold in their tracks. People like this guy need to be in a rubber room, rather than having a say in the running of our country.
How much more pain does this country have to absorb before we hit our pain threshold and put an end to this insanity?????

People like this village idiot make me want to grab them by the collar, drag them out behind the shed and beat the ever loving stuffings out of them.
Oh Lord in Heaven, we can't have a single person with “chemical sensitivities” be subjected to that egregious onslaught placed upon us by those evil candles and air fresheners!!! When is this insanity going to stop?????

This seems like an awful lot of trouble to go to for such “common-sense” legislation. What we probably need is a law stating that everything that is not mandatory is prohibited. It’s...for the children.

It must be needed for the children.
But, will compact fluorescent candles, low flow candles, high speed rail candles, hybrid candles or electric candles replace them?
