was a live TBS broadcast on the internet - had a break from a live conference announced the area. no mag given, likely as it was happening may have been minor as they didn’t come back to it, but they’re understandably touchy already had 3 in high 4s low 5s earlier today - 2 closer to Fuji south of Tokyo.

I dont even know why people watch CNN, except for self-punishment! Turn it off!! ;-)
On the nicer side of things they found a 70 year old lady today in the first floor of a building still alive. Her husband didn’t make it, but she’s alive and in hospital now.
Yesterday there was a story about a family who left too quick to let the dogs loose from the backyard, and just missed getting swept up. When they returned the 2 dogs had both gotten free and were on top of the houses roof doing fine.
So what is going on where you are ?? Radiation panic yet or just another day in Tokoyo?

The Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency says it does not know when the system will be back in operation.
BBC:

One Freeper said..”The media are having a meltdown”.... and I agree! The hype itself is breathtakingly more lethal than what the reactors are doing.
Be concerned for are the Japanese people who basically are living in a wasteland of debre and few resources. Have few places to go...awful! The recovery fromm this mess will take a long time...so much destruction.
None of the news agencies are to be trusted...they can’t even differentiate the situation. But they’re certainly alarming the people.
