I suppose in this case the denfense of not reporting this will be fear and distrust of law enforcement. The mother failed to intervene, and , failed to report it to law enforcement.. This is a 5-year-old boy

The culprit is the boyfriend of the boy’s mother. Why did I KNOW that before ever hitting the link?! Payers for this little one. Burns are very painful.

There is NO defense.
The mother should have taken the children and gone right to the cops.
I hope this man does a slow burn and not given treatment.

My son had bedwetting problems for many years. We tried several remedies but eventually the problem just went away. Never once did I ever consider for a second that physical punishment could solve a problem that occurs WHILE THE CHILD IS SLEEPING! Much less burning a child’s hand for any reason.

Put a bullet through this a-hole’s head, please.

mine, too, until around age 12....I can still feel the frustration at having to wash yet another set of sheets, but always remembered that the kid felt bad enough about it, couldnt go overnight to a friend’s house nor invite friends over.

I remember a similar case 50 years ago in which a child was set on a hot stove because he wet his pants. The mother was a certified loon and the child was put into protective custody.

I’m not sure, but I think I’ve heard before that some convicts don’t like those who have mistreated children. Hopefully Ernesto ends up in a prison with some of those.

Some crimes call for Vlad's type of cruel and unusual punishment:
Vlad III "Tepes" (the impaler) Dracula (1431 - 1476)
