Michele Bachmann’s First Action As Pres. Candidate? Offer Her Birth Certificate
Mediaite ^ | 3/15/11 | Matt Schneider

Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is not afraid to continue to beat the birth certificate drum as a criticism of President Obama. Appearing on the radio show of conservative host Jeff Katz, Bachmann didn’t bring up the birther issue, but when prompted by Katz with it, happily declared how she would be different than Obama. Katz was amazed that his sons had to provide more documentation to play little league baseball than what he alleged Obama ever had to provide. Bachmann assured Katz how there won’t be any lingering questions with her:

Yeesh.

I have to admit I wasn’t very impressed when speaking in New Hampshire over the weekend she commented on how it was good to be speaking in the state where Lexington and Concord happened. Too bad she was talking about Massachusetts.

Watched her on a live stream yesterday at foxnews.com, very impressive speech. It didn’t get much notice here or anywhere, due to the sorrowful news from Japan, and I don’t see it in the fox video archive either.
Bachmann is clearly ascending. Hope she runs for POTUS.

I think every Republican candidate running for President in 2012 should publicly give rock solid proof they meet the eligibility requirements in the Constitution.

I wonder if she knows our country only has 50 states in it, plus a couple of territories of course.

I don't think the idiot should even be eligible to run again until that birth certificate is shown to everyone..And I don't mean a made up one either.Have the other candidates show theirs so he can't say he is being harassed..

OR ... go the opposite direction and say "I don't got no papers, we is Americans and don't need no stinkin papers."

I was born in Timbuktu to Mama & Papa on February 29, 1977 and that's the truf! Pffffttttt.

... my sons needed to show more documentation to play little league

somewhat appropriate analogy, when speaking of our current T-Ball Presidency.

the media just lets him swing away at issues until he finally dribbles one off the peg and then they all cheer and take him out for ice cream.

Michele Bachmann

Born April 6, 1956 (Meets the 35 years Minimum age Requirement)

in Waterloo, IA (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)

Parents were
David John Amble, born in MN
Jean Johnson, born in IA

Both parents were US Citizens at the time of her birth (Meets the Jus sanguinis Requirement)

Michele Bachmann is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN unlike Comrade Barry.

She needs to get her history right though. Lexington/Concord was in MA not NH.

Yeesh.

Unfortunately three potential conservatives won’t make the grade of NBC: Jindal and Rubio’s parents apparently weren’t naturalized until after their birth. And Petraeus’ father was a Dutch national, possibly until after the General’s birth in 1952.

Why not get the NBC ball in national play well before 2012 by having an obvious non-NBC declare very soon this Spring? Then we can energize the base by going after him or her who (of course) would be in on the caper.

Suggest we come up with a well known now-foreign national who was born here. Ideas?

Another approach would be to get Marco Rubio or Bobby Jindal to say this next time someone asks if they will enter the field in 2012:

While I'm flattered that people would like me to run for president I don't believe I meet the natural born citizen requirement of the constitution because both my parents were not US citizens at the time of my birth.

She would only get to debate Obama if she won the nomination. I think/pray that Sarah Palin is running.

I think it`s a bad idea that she MB is even considering running, but that`s just me.

Palin and Bachmann both running is a very bad idea IMHO, and I think if Sarah runs and MB still decides to run, I think that will say something about the kind of person MB is, and not flattering. So I do not share your hope that she runs.

YES she has the right to run. I liked her more before she started toying with this crazy idea.
