Top ranking Democrat Sen. Charles Schumer doubled down on his call for House Republican Speaker John Boehner to ditch the Tea Party after Democrats helped pass a short-term federal funding bill that would have failed without their support because of defections within the GOP.
Speaker Boehner wouldnt have been able to pass this short-term measure without Democratic votes, and he wont be able to pass a long-term one without Democratic votes either, Schumer said in a statement. Its time for him to abandon the Tea Party, and forge a bipartisan compromise.

Soooo,
What’s it gonna be there John Boehner?
You going to side with a weasel like Schumer or ya gonna dance with them that brung ya pal
About time to take a stand for fiscal sanity or you too will be dumped by theTEA party.
LESS gub mint is best gub mint, or get dumped.
Mr. Boehner, you may ignore the TEA Party at your own peril. We are pi$$ed and we are watching. Our message is simple. “Take This Country Back”.
If He doesn’t tell that NY dope the spending game is over, were going to get the debt paid, We will just put another one in His place. He is replaceable, If He goes down so be it. Michelle Bachman and others can and will pick up the ball.
Didn’t get to 14 trillion over night.
That will give Him something to cry about
Too late Now it already passed,Funding for Obamacare,Planned Parenthood, and NPR,so much for The Marches, the Town Halls and The BS from Boner and CantorWont

Sounds like Speaker Boehner is now going to have to choose sides, or maybe Republicans are going to have to choose sides, or maybe the government is going to be shut down, or maybe chuck has gone all in on the wrong side or maybe...
One can only hope and pray that the parties in question are sly like a fox, and choose wisely, because there is a large manure field just waiting for the first misstep. Do I put my faith in the American people? The same people that keep reelecting Chuck and his cohorts in the Senate.
No it’s not. If Obama and Co can use totally unconstitutional methods, We can use Constitutional methods to defang them. Never forget that the People are the Country and the Government. What the elites want means nothing compared to what the People’s Freedom dictates. The 2nd Amendment becomes more significant every day.
Not just Boehner but Cantor and Ryan too.
This was a good vote. A clear vote. None of this “I voted for cuts before I voted for spending.” Ryan and Boehner could have had more cuts, if they wanted. They just wanted to get along with the Democrats more.
Schmucky Schumer knows how the DC echo chamber works and he is simply turning up the volume. Boner and Can’tor don’t have the balls or the necessary mental earplugs to do the work we sent them for. Being that Boner is Gingrich’s favorite since he was speaker, expect nothing less than for him to give up when the going gets tough.
Again, it goes to show it is a shame that the most capable people we sent there to “git-er-dun” wear skirts, with a few notable exceptions like Allen West. BTW, where the hell is McConnell hiding these days? Geez, what a limp putz.
Laugh it up Chuck...
and enjoy your time in the majority, it will soon end.
“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
This is no less valid today that it was back then.
Tell Shumer to go suck a pickle.
Boehner better wise up or he will be on the scrap pile along with asses like Schumer before to long.
Americans are sick and tired of this politicsal crap. We are free falling down the shithole ALL because of politics.
The Government spend WAY TOO MUCH on WAY TO MANY THINGS that it has NO BUSINESS spending money, OUR MONEY, on.
Wise up politicians or you can become unemployed like so many American citizens are.
I wouldn’t waste my effort on that useless bag of $hit.
Time to man up Boehner! They have you thinking you need to go their way!!Wrong, we the people demand, drastic action to this crisis..Tired of move it down the road stuff, The tea party is ready to act for us, What about you?
