The retired officer who yelled "gun" has a habit of listening to a scanner and going to the scene.

How ironic is this?
Bad cops intended to murder an innocent citizen (who happened to be carrying a gun, but was non-threatening), then discover he was one of their own.

Remember:
The cop had a RIFLE.
He had his BADGE out.
The rifle had a SLING.
The RIFLE was being carried by THE SLING OVER HIS SHOULDER.
Iffen he was a civilian—same circumstances—they’d cap him in a second, congratulate each other, and lie through their teeth if necessary.

Story a little different here. Still don't know if crazy knife guy charged police or what. He had been slashing cars? Definitely a shoot on sight offense.

It appears the officer was killed by an MTA cop and I’m still trying to figure out what they were doing there.

Eric Holder: These are my cops after I lowered the passing scores.

Cops shoots cop. Take one of the cops out of the scenario and think of two alternate versions of the story. Then, ask yourself how they would be handled:
1. The victim is a citizen walking toward the scene (with or without a weapon) and the cops shoots him.
2. The shooter is a citizen in his house and he shoots the approaching cop.
Yeah
.it would be VERY different.

(I feel 271 degrees out of sync today, which isn't half bad.)
