Allen West to birthers: focus on Obama policies instead
Palm Beach Post ^ | February 23rd, 2011 | by George Bennett

West speaks to a crowd of about 400 at Tuesday night's town hall meeting in Jupiter.

JUPITER — Toward the end of a 90-minute audience Q&A session at Tuesday night’s town hall meeting, U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, was asked by former Indian Trail Improvement District board member Christopher Karch whether President Obama is “legally there or not.”

“Who is going to tell us who this man is? Is he legally there or not?” said Karch. “What are we going to do to ensure that, if he isn’t legally there, it doesn’t happen again?”

Said West: “I will tell you this: That is the dog chasing its tail. The most important thing is, it’s the policies. That’s what we have to be standing on.”

The crowd of about 400 applauded, but Karch wasn’t satisfied.

“But if he’s not, it’s treason,” Karch said.

Said West: “You will waste more time worrying yourself to death about that instead of making sure that you expand the majority in the House of Representatives, you win back the U.S. Senate so that you can stand against the policies that are emanating out of the White House…

“What is your objective? Your objective is getting back to a constitutional republic principles and values. If you spend your time worrying about someone’s citizenship, you will never get to that objective.”

West didn’t offer his own opinion on Obama’s citizenship during the public forum. So PostOnPolitics asked him after the meeting.

“He is a citizen. He’s the president. I mean, that’s all I know. I am concerned about his policies,” West said.

They accepted his COLB. Whether we do or not, they did. So, Congress has accepted his credentials. The rest is speculation, and not a “known fact.”

So where do you suggest we go from here?

That's easy. Only elect people who will keep their oath to defend the Constitution, in all its provisions.

It is possible that the whole birther issue is a fabrication to keep everybody distracted so that disasterous policies can be instituted with minimal distraction.

Imagine the brouhaha that would envelop the 2012 election if Obama turned out to be perfectly eligible. The club that the Dems could swing would be huge and it could cost the Republicans both houses.

The money spent hiding Obama’s personal information is a small expense, considering how much national elections would cost and the Dems would not be above spending the money, considering how much they’d get out of it.

I do not believe he was born in the U.S.

It appears a likely possibility that Stanley Ann dropped him in Canada. (Near Seattle) She is known to have been in school in Seattle 2 weeks after his birth date with the baby.

If Barrack H. Obama, Sr. is truely his father, it is impossible for him to have been a “natural born” U.S. citizen. As the Constitution requires.

It has yet to be shown the he is even a U.S. citizen. Zero proof. None. Nada.... Zip...... Zilch.......

Those are “credentials” which are held by people who were not born in the United States. The COLB proves nothing, even if real, which is hardly a given.

I’m not “copping out.”

It’s copping out to keep electing people who have shown they could care less about the Constitution they swore to defend and then expecting them to fix our constitutional republic.

In fact, it pretty much meets Einstein’s definition of insanity.

Anyone who expected anything other than this from Allen West has been fooling themselves. Luckily, some of it is coming out now instead of after he is possibly elected like Obama.

Thats all well and good, but the govt has accepted it. And no one has proven it invalid in court, so right now, they prove everything legally.

Try to take it to court and get it proven invalid. But right now, it is valid legally.

Remember, Congress can make all of the Unconstitutional laws it wants as long as the executive enforces it and the courts dont rule against it.

this rumor was originally

Oh, you mean the rumor that his father was born in Kenya and never became a US citizen? BO even admits his father was born in Kenya.

I do not give a crap about where Obama was born, but if BO Sr. really was BO Jrs. father, then BO Jr. does not qualify as President.

The longer we meekly go along to work through the political system to unravel his illegitimate policies, the more legitimacy we give to this usurper.

Take a look at how the House Republican leadership is getting played. It is almost like they want the Obamacare to kick in? The Constitutional question must be answered or we have totally given up our principles and will only suffer from future false profits until we have collapsed like the Roman Republic.

I dare say the damage Obama has already done can never be repaired.

By even fighting these people

If BHO Sr. is his father is the biggest “if” of them all.

If “Pop” (FMD) is the father, then he is constitutionally eligible. And the entire facade that is his being completely unravels. His name, his book... the whole package goes up in flames.

Either way, that long form is never going to see the light of day. If it exists at all.

Let me re-phrase.

Those elected, are in office.
Some with R's after their names, are campaigning for 2012.
Some of the R's are more "conservative" than others.
NONE of the R's are saying, "BamBam is a non-citizen."

What does EternalVigilance do? Other than offer broad philosophical truisms?

It’s called strategy. You don’t think the Democrats would be above using the courts to hide perfectly good documents that show Obama to be eligible, knowing that some people would focus on that point and be distracted?

And then turn around and produce those documents and accuse the Republicans of attacking Obama for being the first black president and showing that their cries of eligibility were really due to racism and not because of constitutional reasons.

You don’t think the Dems wouldn’t do that? It’s a perfectly good political strategy and effective.

As long as Obama is in office, you’re not going to find out the truth. You need him out and the only way to get him out is going to be over policy, not personal documentation.

Charles Manson doesn’t have the right to forcibly choose a woman to bear his children. It’s just the way it is.

Nope, but Moohamamdid & his idiot follower do. At least they think so.

If there was anything to show his eligibility, they would've shown it by now. They have nothing to gain by waiting this long. The fact that they have and continue to obfuscate, tells me the truth of the matter.

As long as Obama is in office, you’re not going to find out the truth.

We completely agree on this. I'd say it'll only be after his death that we know what BamBam's "heritage" was, legally.

In the beginning I thought the FMD story was totally out in Left field. Until I read about the book he wrote under a sudo name which has been positively linked to him. In that book he talked about things that fit the pattern for him being the father. All the events in that slimy piece of literature he wrote was said to have been events in his real life. Then there are the photo’s that are out-there of what is reported to be Stanley Ann Dunham.

I am still skeptical, but it is possible that FMD is his true father, and the Barrack H. Obama, Sr. thing is just a method of giving Barry a last name. Seems FMD’s wealthy wife would not like him linked to any bastard child.

Real life is often wilder than any fiction.

And, Yes, if FMD is his father, he would be a U.S. Citizen and a “Natural Born U.S. Citizen”. He would also be a “Natural Born Commie Bastard”.. Literally.

>While making sure it never happens again.<

.
While also making sure that if it has happened, the perpetrator and his enablers are duly held responsible for this fraud and are duly prosecuted.

What he should have said: “I am not going to get into that line of questioning. I believe that Obama should answer all questions pertaining to that subject.”

That may not have made everyone happy, but I’d bet it would have pi$$ed off far less.
