The Obama/Holder quota stance is pathetic.

Outright war on Caucasian men; this “president”, and the governments that allow these policies/laws, are open enemies of this country’s ideals (as well as many of its people), and worthy of nothing but contempt. I can’t remember the last time I expressed a patriotic thought, or heard any of my children express one.

Well I can certainly see why they want more affirmative action hires, they are two of them themselves.
This is way over the top. When our federal government starts dictating hiring practices of individual cities, they have definitively proven that they have total disregard for states rights, a fundamental precept of our Constitution. How many times did Thomas Jefferson remark in his writings that when a government reaches this level of dictatorial authority over the states, it is irrevocably corrupted and should be abolished? What is it going to take for the people in this country to finally say enough is enough and bring an end to this administration before there is nothing left?
Our country came about over a dispute regarding no taxation without representation and oppressive tyranny from England. Well ladies and gentlemen, we are being taxed to death and our elected officials DO NOT represent our will. Is it time for another revolution? Is that what it will take to reverse this self destructive course our government has taken?

I don’t see why we cannot have private companies bid on fire department services, a few dozen coolies would work cheep. And the food bill would be cut in half.

Congratulations, America, on your "historic" election.

You can only wonder if New York firefighters (and cops) scratch their asses and wonder why they vote Democrat, and why their unions support Democrats. I’m not counting on a sudden jump in collective IQ or anything, but there must be at least a few...
