Does Rep. Anthony Weiner really have nothing better to do? He's currently going after Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, declaring that he should recuse himself from any constitutionality deliberations on ObamaCare because his wife got income from the Heritage Foundation (against ObamaCare), which Thomas forgot to disclose.
But now, the game just got more intense.

I agree. Put "him" on the defensive.
That is what I keep saying...I must’;ve missed the part with the impeachment of a SCJ? Must be on that missing page with abortion?
Yes, I most certainly can believe it. Wish I didn't have to.
As an accountant, I'm well aware of the "reversing entry", used to correct a mistake.
In 599 days (600 if you're on the West Coast), the American people will have their own opportunity to do a "reversing entry" of monumental proportion.
A government founded to “secure these Rights” has evolved into one of oppression. It is fast losing its last remaining threads of legitimacy. When that happens, when government is seen by most as a force of oppression, of plunder, it will be over.
I don’t know the specifics/ That was the blurb I heard on TV. (that and a $1.50 will get you a cup of coffee)
Thank God, I need a little hope right now. I can’t believe what these people are doing and that they can even believe this stuff. It’s as if they are living in some strange parallel world where gravity doesn’t exist, if you get my drift. Everything, EVERYTHING, they do is counter to rational, coherent, moral, thinking people and it’s all destructive. I can honestly see how kids or young college age kids can buy into this stuff. Especially if they are getting it daily from teachers and tv. But, after you’ve lived in the world awhile and had some real world experiences you tend to start figuring things out. These people just blow me completely away, they have no logic. Or is it an actual mental illness? And I’m serious about the mental illness part, and I’m getting off my soapbox now ;)
Weiner should recuse himself from any legislation concerning abortion because his mother didn’t have one.
Yes, that is how I see Thomas—as the “only original understanding constitutionalist”. I like at how you put that. Scalia is close but fails to understand ‘inalienable rights’ and Natural Law Theory which is the basis of our Constitution and Laws....he thinks majorities in states can vote baby’s inalienable rights away.
Majority votes can = unjust law which can’t stand in a society based on Objective Truth.
Pro-abortion laws are unjust law, even if majority vote to allow it. It denies the inalienable rights of unborn babies. Inalienable means that no one has the right to deny people their natural right to life==NO ONE.This concept is so EASY to understand....it is dangerous to the left who are Postmoderns who no longer wish to have “Natural Law Theory” as the basis for our legal system. It is what made our legal system unique—it presupposed a God where are rights are derived. Postmoderns hate God and Christianity above all else. They want Him removed from every aspect of our society, but to remove God, removes our inalienable rights.
Unjust law leads to chaos and inequality and political power over reason and logic and science which is founded in Natural Law Theory. To ignore Natural Law you ignore what is just—reason and logic and science.
Postmodernism is irrational and evil, as Ayn Rand has stated. She was correct on that point and on many other items like Capitalism. Reason should never be dumped although we need to retain God for our inalienable rights or else we will descend into that “end justifies the means” mentality of Postmodernism, and allow the killing of human beings when it is convenient.
Bingo. It doesn't work.

“Kagan’s partner”?
__________
Did I miss something?
Hmmmm...
>>Even if they manage to disbar Thomas, that still doesnt get rid of Thomas.

>Apparently a lot of folks labor under the idea that you have to be a lawyer to be on the SCOTU, which is a common misunderstanding.
What’s worse is how many [more] people believe that the Constitution is what the Supreme Court says it is... don’t they realize that if that be the case then the oaths of the Justices amount to “I promise to uphold and defend my own word,” and that in turn gives them the power to unilaterally amend the Constitution?
