That being said, he's one of our better senators, truly a conservative we can be proud to support.
I'm not going to throw him under the bus for one wrong statement.
Obama and the democrats are the enemy, not Jim DeMint. Don't make the perfect the enemy of the good, that's one of the ways to ensure democrat victory.
A sad statement on the condition of the U.S. Senate, the Republican Party, and what passes for "conservatism" these days if your best, your most conservative, is a Romney supporter and defender of socialized medicine.
Though, I doubt you'll recognize that.
Obama/Romney/care is so critically important as a fundamental (and bellweather) issue that DeMint needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
Coffee, by the way, goes well with toast and it just popped up in Mr. DeMint's toaster.
