1. Americans should leave.
2. Radiation will not reach the U.S.
3. The CDC do not recommend that people take precautionary measures except for staying inside (cowering is optional).
4. US nuclear plants are safe. However, what we can learn now in Japan may make them even safer.
5. SAR teams from US will help in Japan. The US military is pitching-in.
6. Responders are being given the best equipment.
7. American citizens are mobilizing to help. You can do so on (website suchandsuch).
8. Japan and the US share many cultural bonds. This friendship is certain to bring everyone through this disaster. We have to help each other.
9. (Anecdote about a baby saved).
10. We will stand with the people of Japan.
No questions allowed. Obama walks off stage.

Obama looked like he was watching a ping-pong game, the way his gaze bounced from one teleprompter to the other the whole time. And the way he bolted at the end to avoid questions was pathetic. This guy is the worst president ever.

Six days later, he finally has something to say. Took his speech writers six days to come up with something. That’s pathetic.
Obama hasn’t a clue. Absolutely no executive experience of any kind. I doubt if he even had a paper route.
I would love to see that from the U.K. or Israel, though seeing the Obamas snubbed from William's royal wedding is nice.
Yeah, planning his trip to Rio and Ireland and after that a nice vacation from all that traveling.

Of course, Obama wants this to be as bad as possible so he can shut down the industry. So, if Rumsfield were around, he would say, "Go with them!"
Did he forget to mention that global wind trajectories do not cross the equator, hence his trip to South America.
