Mike Pence, RINO, waffles on Hannity (defunding Obamacare)

Posted on 03/17/2011 3:18:31 PM PDT by JimWayne

I was listening to Sean Hannity's program and Mike Pence was on the show. Hannity asked him about the media reports about GOP battling its own right wing. Pence took the side of those NOT supporting the members who want to get rid of the $105B funding of Obamacare. That is, he does not support Bachmann's proposal.

He claimed he wanted to pick a fight, and that in 3 weeks he would be among those delivering the goods. Hannity specifically asked him if he would defund Obamacare in 3 weeks by opposing the $105 billion funding it has now. At this point he waffled and spoke on No Child Left Behind, TARP and Medicare and said that he would be united with other Republicans.

Hannity pushed him but to no avail. All he would say was that GOP would keep its pledge of going back to the 2008 levels.

When Hannity asked him why GOP was not supporting those who wanted to defund Obamacare, he spoke about how they made noises in the media and he praised Boehner and Eric Cantor as great leaders.

I had nothing against Mike Pence until now, but he has shown himself to be a RINO.

The only way to go back to 2008 levels... would be to defund Obamacare, since it didn’t exist in 2008

I haven’t liked Pence since he tried to get his own amnesty compromise bill passed in 2006. His defense of Obamacare is just an extension of his record.

The big problem remains that the Republican Congressional leadership will not fight. They are still using the ‘substantive cosmetics’ playbook. The deficit is $1.65 Trillion this year. It is going to crush the Us economy. The Demorats are just delusional that these sort of spending can be sustained and the Republicans are so cowardly and weak they won't take the necessary heat for literally the economic survival of the US.

Every one is a RINO except me and thee, and I have my doubts about thee. — Tactics versus strategy, that is what you have going on here. I always get refreshed when folks are so quick to throw out the baby with the bath water.

I turned it on midstream and thought to myself, who is this disgusting waffling sounding RINO? Was shocked to later find out it was Pence, pretty sad, we’re in trouble.

I heard him say they would defund obabmacare this year and to stay tuned.

Parsing words is unnecessary. IF you heard it, you know what I posted is true and he evaded the issue of removing the 105B and spoke about No Child Left Behind and other irrelevant stuff. He also brushed off those who oppose the hidden 105B funding as though they were some unimportant people making noises in the media.

Pence isn’t running for POTUS.
He’s going to run for governor of Indiana in 2012 to succeed Mitch Daniels.
I’m totally comfortable with that and he’ll get my vote.

The GOP’s election promise to cut $100 Billion. Political rhetoric.

The GOP’s election promise to defund Obamacare. Political rhetoric.

Boehner & Company are listening more to Schumer (’drop the Tea Party’) than to conservatives.
