President Obama will speak about Libya early Friday afternoon, an administration official says.

It will be,as always, a total waste of time since it will be nothing but one lie after another.

Do these people understand that in Iraq, imposing a no-fly zone was relatively easy since the air defense sytsem had been utterly destroyed in Desert Storm?

Libya on the other hand has an intact air defense system which means it will have to first be neutralized in order to enforce a no-fly zone. Air strikes will be needed. Losses and the resulting media circus should aircrew be captured can be expected. Does hussein have any comprehension of this?

On one hand, I’d doubt it very much. However, his administration always schedules big announcements, which should be covered by media, for late Friday afternoons hoping they’ll escape attention. Makes me think he may announce bombing while the world’s attention is diverted to Japan.

We will note again that he did absolutely NOTHING on behalf of the people of Iran coming up a year ago. So I wonder why,why,why pick on Libya, when O helped get the Lockerbie bomber there to rejoice into his old age?

zer0 and saber rattling ... just doesn't fit. Therefore zer0 will become a real zer0 (again) and place more of our people in harms way. This would be consistent, on zer0’s part ... in my humble opinion.
