This is AT&T's way of fixing their network issues - buying t-mobile?

It'll be "AT&T-Mob" now... :)

I guess that’s the last we’ll see of the commercials with the Ann Hathaway lookalike badmouthing ATT.

In terms of subscribers, Verizon became #1 when they took over Alltel.

This will be interesting as heck to see how it shakes out - or even if the Feds will let it pass.

I have an aircard account that came from Alltel. Their d/l speeds were fantastic for mobile wireless internet — 2.2-2.5Mb consistently.

Once Verizon took over and the networks were merged, it’s a whole different story. I’m lucky to get 45KB down. It totally sucks.

DSL is supposed to come through in September, and other WISPs are starting to expand into my area. The sooner the better.

T-Mobile customers have my sympathies. Kiss your good internet service goodbye.

If this happens then I’m gonna switch to Sprint after my current contract expires.

T-Mobile had affordable plans that didn’t require a lifetime commitment. That kind of insanity had to be stopped!!

Cap my DSL.

Make unlimited wireless data a myth.

And now buy T-Mobile?

Hat-trick of fail, Ma Bell!

Sprint is gong to have to do something to survive... there was gossip of T-Mob & Sprint hooking up last week... about all Sprint has left is to hook up with US Cellular or die.

AT&T is the only provider for which you need an attorney review their deals and monthly invoices.

More bad news for consumers. Less competition, and T-Mobile was actually relatively good about pricing. AT&T is pretty much lying about 4G capability and capping data and getting away with it. Ugh.
