Four men launched a horrific attack on a teacher in which they slashed his face and left him with a fractured skull because they did not approve of him teaching religion to Muslim girls.
Akmol Hussein, 26, Sheikh Rashid, 27, Azad Hussain, 25, and Simon Alam, 19, attacked Gary Smith with a Stanley knife, an iron rod and a block of cement.
Mr Smith, who is head of religious education at Central Foundation Girls' School in Bow, east London, also suffered a fractured skull.
The four now face a jail sentence.
Detectives made secret recordings of the gang's plot to attack Mr Smith prior to the brutal assault.
The covert audio probe captured the gang condemning Mr Smith for 'teaching other religions to our sisters', the court heard.

Vigilantism is a better deal for the people than English government. Their government is so rotten they don't care about the victim even when they know beforehand. I bet the English bureaucrats would fight to keep their pensions.

They've been taught that the reason for this is Israel and the US are stealing from them or oppressing them or whatever.....anyway it's never the fault of their 8th century religion which never progressed beyond the dark ages. I mean seriously, what kind of religion won't teach students about the right triangle because it resembles a cross. These are the people that our usurper in chief is encouraging to come into this country.
Liberals think you can take a medieval mindset and mass transplant it into a modern society, and they'll adopt Western ways. After all one culture is as good as another and there's no such thing as American exceptional-ism.

I’m suprised that they were prosecuted.
Unfortunately for Mr. Smith, the victim of Muslim orthodoxy written in blood, his attackers will likely be defended with marches and other forms of protest using 'religion' as the excuse for the barbarism visited on him. I'll be surprised if the thugs do any hard jail time. Frankly, I think the Muslims have, in effect, 'conquered' England and that once-great nation is now probably irredeemable. I hope I'm wrong.

Not good enough--punishment has to come first, deportation OK as a conclusion. Otherwise, they just change identities and come back.

While it's true that the UK has a larger Muslim population (relative to total population) than the US does, I would point out (and only because someone else pointed it out to me) that the UK still only has less than a 8% population of non-whites (non-indigenous people).
They do have a problem insofar that their Muslims are more uppity than our Muslims, they still probably have a more manageable problem than we do, if they ever get around to managing it.
Plus, they don't pass out the citizenship candy like we do. It takes more than just being born on British soil to be a British citizen.
