Of course, most people know that almost no Roman emperor left the throne without getting murked.
One of the few exceptions, Septimius Severus, was also one of the assorted African-born Roman emperors.
That’s ironic when I think that now, a man one generation removed from African soil, is probably being betrayed in the worst way since Caesar by somebody he should have known enough not to trust from the door.
Oddsmakers are already putting a line on Hillary Clinton making her own Presidential run in 2012.
Clinton has already stated that she’s finished as Secretary of State if Obama wins re-election.
That’s odd.
Yet it was Ms. Clinton in Paris two Mondays ago doing the American-sided talking to the group of nations that ended up bombing Libya.
Now, I remember my mother saying before I was even in double digits, “They only bomb brown people.”
My mother was being simplistic, even she would have admitted to this. But my mother often speaks in generalities to make a broader point.

So the question becomes, is Hillary Clinton selling out a potential 2012 Barack Obama re-election by making the man look so incredibly callous as to himself “bomb brown people”?
Or is this just another instance of (me, this time) blaming the ineptitude of the Black man on the white… well, woman?

Her only chance would be if Obummer decides not to run for re-election. If she challenges him for the nomination she’ll anger the black community.
And a democrat can’t win squat without the black community.
Getting his pre-campaign massages from various ans sundry bimbettes. Once Old Crusty announces, she'll pull Bill out to give '90s nostalgia speeches to just about every white Democrat over the age of 40.
That's going to be interesting. If Hillary runs, not only will the Dems be split racially, they'll be torn generationally. Over 40s will remember the '90s. The younger types won't and will side with the race-baiters.
However, she is, I believe, positioning herself as an alternative. Assume the international situation continues to go badly, as does the economy, and jobs, and if Obamacare is tossed out b the courts...and his poll numbers are sinking. April/May 2012.. Facing a wipe out in the 2012 election, senior Dems, including top blacks..might well convince Obama not to run again....and he might go along...his ego wouldn't stand the possibility of a huge repudiation...and there is no way for the Dems to start to walk back from Obamacare if he's still president..then she is nominated by aclamation at the convention and the black vote sticks..
Disagree. Blacks are 12% of the population. Remove children and felons from that, and you're down to probably a little less than 10%. Now, run a Huckabee, a Gingrich or a Romney as the GOP candidate, and Hillary mops the floor with all of them.
I really don’t think Hillary will run. I think she is going to spend the next two years teaching Obama about the death by a thousand cuts. Then, I think she will retire.

There’s still plenty deadly fierceness in the kick she has left, however.

Septimius Severus was not black. He was part Roman and part Berber and Berbers are Caucasoid Arabs. And as a bonus factoid, Cleopatra was not black; she was Greek.
In 2010, 13 percent of all voters were black. And 95 percent of blacks voted for Obama.
But Obama only won with 53% of the vote.
If Hillary is successful in challenging Obama, you can bet that turnout in the black community will drop off significantly. Some might even vote against her.
This would make it hard for her to win any of the key “purple” states.
Black populace by state:
Florida 15%
Ohio 12%
Pennsylvania 10%
If Hillary is going to have a chance at winning anything she’ll need strong support from the black community. Especially after being the worst Sec. of State since Albright.

The Germans bombed London. The Allies won the war by killing most able-bodied males, carpet-bombing Dresden, splitting the country in two for forty years, and establishing American military bases in their country.

Especially if your country is full of brown people. Oh, we like that, don’t we? That’s our hobby now. But it’s also our new job in the world: bombing brown people. Iraq, Panama, Grenada, Libya. You got some brown people in your country? Tell ‘em to watch the —— out, or we’ll god—— bomb them!
Well, who were the last white people you can remember that we bombed? In fact, can you remember any white people we ever bombed? The Germans! That’s it! Those are the only ones. And that was only because they were tryin’ to cut in on our action. They wanted to dominate the world.

But the Germans are ancient history. These days, we only bomb brown people. And not because they’re cutting in our action; we do it because they’re brown. Even those Serbs we bombed in Yugoslavia aren’t really white, are they? Naaah! They’re sort of down near the swarthy end of the white spectrum. Just brown enough to bomb. I’m still waiting for the day we bomb the English. People who really deserve it.
