How do we know they are “good” schools? Were are the controlled studies that separate that which is learned outside of the classroom due to “afterschooling” and that which is really learned in the classroom?
Perhaps when we see good standardize achievement scores what is **really** being measured is the amount of “afterschooling”!
Honestly...Parents go to tremendous expense to buy higher end housing and suffer long commutes for so-called “good” schools. The schools may NOT be “good”. The parents in these communities could simply be good “afterschoolers”.

That’s horrible! My daughter was kicked in the leg by a “diversity candidate” and the school was too afraid to do anything. They actually reprimanded my daughter! My area use to be 80% “Classic American” but now it’s quickly changing with new developments for lower income people planned almost next door!
By the way, Hyannis on the Cape is now referred to as Brockton By The Sea. Same Same. Section 8, welfare, High tax, high regulation, ‘social services’, shootings, stabbings, bums, high police costs yet ineffective. The town council is referred as the Town Clown-cil.

That used to be true about Utah. I had my eye on moving to Utah. But recently they’ve passed legislation that’s going to turn their state into a LaRaza colony. Utah will be over in 10 years, same as Texas.

We had to after school my kids for 3-5 hour a day. Now we homeschool for 3-5 hours a day with out the public school. My kids are now 1 1/2 to 3 years ahead of the public school. Depends on which one you look at as to where they are.
Our area is now getting the junk from Detroit moving in. Loud, obnoxious, so stuck on them selves, pants on their ankles sort and I may have to leave. This doesn’t account for the gay crowd, drug crowd, and the criminal element that is moving in to.
Along with this we are getting more liberal laws and attitudes that foster a poor community atmosphere.

I think what your saying is inevitible everywhere. I think Utah has more of a common sense approach to it.
I was looking at the St George area of Utah.Plenty of golf,hiking and less than 200 miles from Vegas.

There is a school district in our area that families were sacrificing to move into because of its academic reputation.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t been 10 years since this movement began,
and that very school system has had to institute measures to prevent the spread of “oral STDs” because of a sexually aggressive female culture that has been cultivated in this school district.
No thanks. I’ll keep my kids under the eye of people that care most about them and their education.
many years ago we had property in a small authentically historic ski town in the Colorado Rockies
the place became infested with city liberals (many from Califoria) who moved to the edge of our great national parks, built huge houses, built fake historic buildings full of shops to sell tourists fake western jewelry and art, built massive ugly euro-modern ski lifts, surrounded our skating pond with spotlights and fake boardwalks, and demanded higher taxes to build health clubs and soccer fields
