OBAMBULATE Really is a Word (Don't Doubt Him!)
Oxford English Dictionary (2nd Edition)

Rush mentioned today that obambulate is a word. (Okay. I thought he said, "obamulate.") "It's in the Oxford English Dictionary," he said. So I had to look. Here it is:

It sort of fits.

I dare BOR to put this word up on his word of the day.
Let’s resurrect this word for zero to include wandering aimlessly, dithering and blindly following discredited ideologies.

Thank you You're welcome. But you really should thank Rush though. He's the one who brought it to my attention.
It's hard to believe that he was actually familiar with this word. I wonder what caused him to look it up.

Not a net nanny you dumb a**. If it is spelled wrong the left will make a case against it. Spell it correctly and we can use it against them, but the argument that Obamulate isn't a word, would be true, OTH they can't say that if it is spelled correctly. Besides, it makes the people mispelling it look stupid since the article makes it plain how it is spelled.
Get a frickin' brain.

My boss once asked me if a word I had used was really a word. I said, It is now.A former co-worker of mine used to "compliment" another co-worker we had by saying: "You're such an obsequious young man." The other worker finally looked up the word one day. Boy was he pissed. We all had a good laugh, though.

Wow! I always thought Obama was a ditherer by nature/personality. It never occurred to me to seek a “nurture” explanation. Apparently he’s spent all his life living up to his name. I’m sure this must be gratifying for him to learn, since now he can blame his father’s last name for how he turned out
