I’m so glad I’m not trying to raise girls in this culture.
Aldous Huxley had the sexualization of minors in Brave New World, along with the feelies.....oh, and no more sex for procreation, it was only for fun.
That is precisely where we are FRiends.
My 8 yo granddaughter, in the second grade has told me that there are girls in her class that wear bras. Nearly every store that sells little girl clothes has matching bras and pantie sets.
Yet, parents who buy this crap cry that their girls are being sexualized.
It is disgusting.
As one of the better documented degenerates on this site, I have to weigh in with: “That’s totally disgusting.”
Raising two girls, we will not allow our daughters to dress in any way that is less than modest. Modesty begins with Mom, mom sets the example. Can’t tell you them number of times I’ve had to say “no” to clothing. I will stand firm in this perverse generation.

In my opinion, any parent who even has to THINK about the 'appropriateness' of dressing their 8 year old daughter in a padded bra is an unfit parent. It is NOT appropriate. Okay? Any MORE stupid questions?
My wife used to teach elementary school and the worst thing she saw was some mother who let her fifth grade daughter wear shorts to school that said “Bootylicious” on the butt.
Disgusting. That mother ought to be horsewhipped.
These aren’t new. I have a friend whose daughter was 11 or 12, 3 years ago and she bought her a padded bikini.
I noticed right away as I we frequently have dinner together and I thought “She didn’t blossom overnight”.
I had another friend insist I was not looking at a mirage and I said “Don’t be ridiculous and try to insult my intelligence or pull a houdini on my eyes. She ain’t that endowed and it’s stoopid to have a 12 year old acting like she’s a 20 year old.”
But hey, that’s just me.
