Raising two girls, we will not allow our daughters to dress in any way that is less than modest. Modesty begins with Mom, mom sets the example. Can’t tell you them number of times I’ve had to say “no” to clothing. I will stand firm in this perverse generation.
My wife used to teach elementary school and the worst thing she saw was some mother who let her fifth grade daughter wear shorts to school that said “Bootylicious” on the butt.
Disgusting. That mother ought to be horsewhipped.

Good for you! God bless you. I think back to when our daughter was in her teens and have to say my biggest beef with her was too much eyeliner for my tastes. And I thought that was a crisis. Nothing compared to today. Our 15 year old graddaughter is a sod-kicker, totally 4-H (ish). Boots and jeans! While I’m at it I may as well tell you that these mothers that make their little girls dress like little sluts for these outrageous beauty contests ought to be arrested for child abuse as well as the parents on the subject of this thread!
Good for you Mom. You love your children enough to say not no but hell no. However, I’m sure your kids know enough to not even ask. Taht’s being a REAL MOM and not a friend.
