Obama goes deep, sets new record
The Times ^ | 03/25/2011 | Thomas Sowell

Posted on 03/26/2011 6:23:56 PM PDT by thatjoeguy

- They say that records are made to be broken. President George W. Bush set a record by adding $3.2 trillion to the national debt over the course of his eight years in office. But Barack Obama has already beaten that record with $4.4 trillion in just his first three years in office.
- People who thoughtlessly give money to panhandlers on the street seem not to realize that this is making installment payments on the degeneration of America.
- Don't mention "municipal golf courses" to me. It sends my blood pressure up through the roof. What earthly excuse is there for spending the taxpayers' money subsidizing a golf course? Politicians can't even invoke "the poor," as they do when trying to justify other government boondoggles.
- The vocabulary of the political left is fascinating. For example, it is considered to be "materialistic" and "greedy" to want to keep what you have earned. But it is "idealistic" to want to take away what someone else has earned and spend it for your own political benefit or to feel good about yourself.

On talk radio, you are not supposed to criticize Bush’s debts and deficits, only Obama’s. That is the problem in this country. We need to oppose every deficit and debt creator.

There, fixed.

You’d have to search long and hard to find a smarter man than Thomas Sowell.

[President George W. Bush set a record by adding $3.2 trillion to the national debt over the course of his eight years in office.]

Despicable rino and not a true conservative, an A for foreign affairs, and F for domestic. A conservative should care for domestic as well as international. And worse, a one world order rino who did not live up to his potential. He should have talked a lot more about the evil politicians of America just as Ronald Reagan did.

[Barack Obama has already beaten that record with $4.4 trillion in just his first three years...]

Americas most dangerous enemy and will be remembered for his great evil and tragic and disastrous policies and programs. Worse than all the evil Presidents of American and more of a disaster than the evil ex president Jimmy Carter, who is the 2nd most evil President of my life behind Obamanation of desolation.
May the Lord Jesus have mercy on Christians and conservatives who have a love for that which pleases God and may He save us from the decadence and evil ways of the left wing hell raising demons.

Municipal golf courses, which charge reasonable rates to play them, are OFTEN the only park department which show a profit....thereby allowing swing sets, teeter totters, sand boxes, to be purchased for the other regular parks WITHOUT THE USE OF TAXPAYER MONIES....please....

As to municipal golf courses, the city of Rockville MD (Freak state) paid some nonprofit National Golf group $75,000 to do a feasibility study of the future revenue of the existing Redgate mu,icipal golf course. The nonprofit came back with a projection of +$190,000 over ten years. Just this week they said they made a mistake...it will have a deficit of -$850,000. To think they government idiots paid these nonprofit idiots $75,000 for the “study”. My pet earthworm could have done better.

“....AN A for foreign affairs, and F for domestic.”

Have to agree, my friend. That’s why I think there should be a Secretary of War (for foreign affairs to work with Secretary of State, Joint Chiefs of Staff, etc.) and a Secretary of Defense to devote full on keeping crossing our borders...all of our borders but start with border between USA (THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH!) and Mexico. Mexico has lost any battle on Mexico/US border affairs....really Mexico has no battle anyway so Secretary of Defense may be “our only hope, Obi-Won-Kenobi.”

Secretary of War
Secretary of Defense

And they can collaborate.
