Clearly, Trump doesn't consider political ideas on a moral or a philosophical level. Trump looks for success in a very superficial way. Not what we need in a president.

At minute 3:50 Trump says how much he likes Hillarycare.

At 4:35 is where Trump starts gushing about Obama. I’m pretty sure this is what I was remembering recently on another thread, when I caught flak for saying Trump isn’t what he pretends to be.

Your memory is good and you’re right about Trump. Trump is a skunk and he’s going to get another Rat elected in 2012.

LOL! Do you really think Trump is going to run for President?

Do you know what the pay difference would be for him?

The President makes less than a half of million dollars a year. I doubt Trump would accept that.

Let him have his fun. Somebody needs to be talking about Obama's birth certificate. Might as well be Trump.

With Michelle Bacchman climbing as fast as she is in the polls right now, I would imagine Trump will lose ground just as Palin has started to take dip since her support for this war that even the Sec of Def Robert Gates hints was a mistake.

Trump's in this for the attention. Hey, if he knocks Obama down a few levels I say good for him!

IMHO...

High net worthers often have alterior motives...

I’m skeptical of anyone with the word casino on their resume.

It’s fun to listen to Trump get a charged up about government lunacy, then again millions of Americans can do that today.

But the next President, Lord willing, will be a) a lot more socially conservative and b) thinking “broad and deep” about the whole picture and be able to balance any particular ties to special interests that they have with the need for them to understand key issues in areas where they have little or no knowledge and come up with optimal answers. If electing a businessman, I would expect Cain to exhibit more of this sort of wisdom than Trump.

Take a look at the date above too. September 25, 2007

It's kinda old. Trump has seen the light; he doesn't "speak well" about Obama now.

If Trump is so sharp and has such a keen grasp of the business world I wonder why he never knew about Obama’s eligibility problems until now.

How could it be that such a highly successful businessman goes on national television saying what a great success Obama is, and then has to turn around four years later to question Obama’s basic identification papers? Why is Trump so highly praised yet so inept?

I’d like to hear Rush hold Trump accountable on this, especially Trump’s praise for Hillarycare.

Sadly, it might be that the only one with the cojones to hold Trump accountable would be somebody like Palin.

Seems obvious to me that the Left is going to use, dig up and plaster every liberal thing Trump ever said far and wide in a failing attempt to discredit him. The hope seems to be that conservatives and other people who would hear/listen to what he has to say will then discount his comments RE: the birth certificate.

No, you have it backwards.

Trump is a businessman with no moral grounding, which means Trump himself is essentially a leftist. He doesn’t care about the birth certificate for the reasons normal Americans would care about it.

When Trump was praising Obama and saying how great Hillarycare is, I and many others were posting day and night on this website about Obama’s birth certificate.

Trump has something else up his sleeve. That’s just who he is.

Don’t get me wrong (shoulda made it clearer) I agree that he’s a lib in disguise and I am not saying you are a Lefty. I apologize if that’s the way I came off.

My point is that the left will try to cloud the issue of the BC with his Lib statements/leanings.

And no, I wouldn’t vote for him.

If it's during the primaries that's a good thing. That will keep them busy from attacking the other real candidates.

The more people running in the primary the better. Debates make people smarter, gets them some practice for the real debate with Obama himself.

I think it's a good thing for primary candidates to share their policies. I believe everybody has at least one good idea that someone like Michelle Bacchman, Newt Gingrich or Sarah Palin could borrow when they end up as the nominee. I'm sure Trump has many good ideas for business. Yeah, people say he's gone bankrupt before well... so are we...maybe he knows better how we can recover. So, let him tell his ideas. We all can learn something from everybody.

He claims he's been a republican all his life but I thought I remembered that man running for Governor or Mayor as a democrat at one time.

That would be a good video to find (if true)

No problem my friend.

It seems to me that Trump might be trying to pull a Perot for Hillary.

I don’t have data to back it up but if memory serves, he has claimed several political ‘homes’ ovet the years. Like I said, from memory, and I may well be wrong.

On a side note, he used to be the darling of the Rap/Hip Hop world, and they (insert broad, sweeping generalization here) sure don’t like Republicans. FWIW

Trump is a joke. At best, he's a super weak RINO on a very good day. He's very superficial, self-serving and does not understand conservative principles in the least. I do not trust his motives and wonder if the Rats want him to run to split the GOP vote. The sooner he goes away the better.
