Donald Trump, a potential presidential candidate in 2012, has boldly asked the question the political and media elite refuse to ask: "Where's the birth certificate?"
As a result, more people are discovering the controversy over Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility every day. Therefore, it's a good time for a refresher course or primer on what this issue is all about.
First of all, it is an irrefutable fact, despite what you might hear and read from other sources, that Obama has never released his birth certificate to the press or the American people. In fact, he has steadfastly refused to do so.
The only document Obama has offered to suggest he is a natural-born citizen actually contradicts that suggestion. But, even worse, that document, the certification of live birth, the short-form certificate, is insufficient for purposes far less significant than establishing the constitutional eligibility for the presidency. For instance, try getting a passport with one. Try qualifying for Little League with one. Try getting a driver's license with one in most states. This is a digital document, subject to fraud, easy to obtain in Hawaii without a birth actually taking place, and the state of Hawaii has never even asserted that the document the Obama campaign released was an official Hawaiian document.
There is one other piece of so-called "evidence" cited by Obama acolytes: much-to-do-about-nothing newspaper birth announcements. Since those birth announcements would be triggered automatically by the Hawaii health department with the acceptance of an application for a certification of live birth, they are totally irrelevant insofar as corroborating evidence. They only indicate that someone in Hawaii applied for a certification of live birth, a document Hawaii handed out to people with no evidence of an actual birth having taken place.

We are living through the biggest fraud and crime ever perpetrated in real time. Some can’t wrap their minds around that simple fact because it’s just too far outside their sphere of acceptable reality.

I never was one of those what some call “birthers” but my suspicions have
grown a lot since the beginning of this war in Libya. You may have
seen the video on YouTube where during the 2008 elections Qaddafi
practically endorsed Obama. Since then he had referred to him as his
“son”
This tells me that Qaddafi would have had enough interest in
this Obama guy to have studied his life to learn what he’s all about.
After all, he’s the President of the United States. Why would a
dictator such as Qaddafi not try to learn about the man in the White House?
A month before Obama started bombing Qaddafi - Obama requested an
increase to $1.7 million to give to Qaddafi for his military.
This was reported on Fox a few days ago.
Why such a request? Was Obama blackmailed about something?
We know Qaddafi has a lot of power in Africa. And we know that if
Obama was born in another country (because of his fame) surely that
country’s leader would already know that he’s the leader of the birth
country of Barack Obama.
As the leader of Libya Qaddafi can find things out from other nations’
leaders. Perhaps he got information about Obama’s birth certificate or
even a copy and he tried to blackmail Obama. Or maybe Obama simply
knows that Qadaffi knows something.
Why else would a nobel peace prize winner go to war? And do against
the will of his own VP which was just reported on sunday.
It’s just a theory that came to mind. Two strange things:
One, a man (not just a man but The President of the United States)
cannot find his birth certificate who also happens to have grown
up in other nations and mosques.
Two, a peace nick so peaceful that he wins a nobel peace prize before
he’d accomplished anything to earn it. Won the election on his
anti-war stance, promising to never go to war unless it’s in the
interest of our national security and he had the permission from
Congress, the UN, NATO and everybody else including Pope.
So peaceful he scared the heck out of Republicans.
Yet this same guy goes to war with Gadaffi against the will of Biden,
without going to Congress as he’d always promised and quite frankly
Vietnam was more justified. How is it this man could actually turn on a dime
so fast and coincidentally after requesting an increase of
foreign aid to Qaddafi himself a month before bombing him.
If Obama was born in another nation it’s guaranteed that nation’s
leader knows about it.

THe most likely reason that she didn’t use the issue is because she couldn’t get the documents either. In other words, she couldn’t prove anything and realized, probably correctly, that she would be labelled as a wing-nut (or worse - a “birther”).
They love Obama overseas (well at least until this war) as a token of pride if Obama were born in another country that President or King or whatever would know about right now.
Here in the US it’s more difficult for the government to know those things. We’re like 50 different governments. We’re unique that way. We’re probably the only nation that does not have a national ID card (at least one of the very few).
We depend on our city’s archives of birth certificates to prove we are citizens of the US. Our ID card is our drivers license. Not so, in other countries.
It’s easier than you think to get that information. You just have to know which country to start in. Perhaps he’s Canadian. Who knows.

What is so nuts about being a birther?
I consider myself to be a birther, and I concentrate on only two theories.
1. Obama was not born in Hawaii, or
2. His father was not as reported, and not a US citizen.
What other reason would he have to keep the certificate
sequestered?
That right there is the bottom line.
The reason she didn’t use this against him in the primary is because challenging him on THIS would have cost her the entire black vote. Especially once he began his rise in the results. Not only the black vote in the primary, but also the general election. She was effectively “checkmated” because of Democrat race politics.
Someone will correct me if I’m wrong, I hope, but I’ve read that if we ever get to a time that less than 90% of blacks vote for something OTHER than the Democrat party, that the Dems cannot win another presidential race.
Her time to challenge him on this was when no one was paying attention to him. When she didn’t, she faced a lose/lose proposition.
The problem with Barack Obama's books is not so much that they are autobiographical though, it is that they contain elements of an autobiography with an exposition of Obama's political ideology. These are not simply books, they are tools, and tools with a purpose.
Obama the image was marketed to us. Seems there was an intent to commit fraud if he is found ineligible and or his background does not match his story.
White cowardice and guilt.

And I mean all of it. From the day he was born to were he lived, to his colleges and grades, to the day he showed up in Chicago and tried to bust into 'The Machine' when 'nobody sent him'(1).
So something is there. And it AIN'T good for him so it's buried really really deep.
(1) In Chi, if 'nobody sent you', you couldn't get a job sweeping streets for the 'Streets and San Dept' (aka: getting paid to sleep for 4 hours per *work* day). You had to know someone, who knew someone, who knew someone important and all of whom would vouch for you. (Getting 'work' with the Mob was easier /s)

This is a good editorial, but Bill O’Reilly’s level of knowledge is a ridiculously low bar. I would guess the majority of Freepers know more about Obama’s eligibility than BOR does (even though the majority of Freepers don’t have a Master’s degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard). Most Freepers just have a lot more common sense and willingness to even-handedly ponder EVIDENCE than the arrogant know-it-all BOR does.

Of much greater import, he has steadfastly FOUGHT in court battle after court battle to avoid having to do so. It’s one thing to passively fail to take action (Obama seems adept at this), but quite another to invest large amounts of resources to avoid taking that action—ESPECIALLY when it would be far less time-consuming and inexpensive simply to authorize release of the long form BC.
Obama himself has offered the most convincing reason for why all Americans should be skeptical about his eligibility: “The only people who don’t want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide.” What is POTUS hiding????
If we ever get to the point where blacks vote individually rather than as a collective, then we will know they have finally broken from their chains.
Hillary had enough delegates to win the nomination at the time the Senate Judiciary Committee met in Jan. Feb. 2008 to determine eligibility of McCain and Obama following the NYT article questioning McCain’s eligibility in Dec. 2007. She did not need to expose Obama then. Dems and Repubs signed McCaskill’s SR 511 violating the Constitution.
After Dean forced Hillary’s delegates at the convention to switch to Obama it was too late. She and McCain got screwed. If she exposes Obama now she and Congress will be guilty of violating the Constitution and accessories to a crime. They want to keep it all quiet. TRAITORS!!!
