Real estate mogul and potential 2012 presidential contender Donald Trump defended his questioning of President Obama’s birth certificate Monday morning with a defiant, “this guy either has a birth certificate or he doesn’t.”
“I am really concerned,” Trump said in a phone interview on Fox & Friends. “You have no doctors that remember, you have no nurses -- this is the president of the United States -- that remember. … He could have been born outside of this country. Why can’t he produce a birth certificate?”
Trump, who has been flirting with a run for president, first made a remark about the so-called “birther” issue last week on The View. Obama provided news organizations with a scan of his birth certificate during his 2008 campaign, which some oulets also independently vetted.
“I brought it up just routinely, and now I’m starting to wonder myself whether he was born in this country,” Trump said Monday.

There are only 2 reasons to spend millions to hide your birth certificate:
1. You weren't born in this Country (enough said...case closed).
2. There is embarassing information on the BC. The only thing that could possibly be is another mother or father listed. But, with all the media's help, he could get out of that. They'll say "he can't choose his parents" "he is not lying, that is what his mom told him and that is what he believed" etc. etc. etc.
Which brings us back to only Option 1
And, Trump is much more likely to find a way to make money off of this issue than to spend money on this issue. It's more likely that he will find a way to collect donations to pursue the matter. He won't be spending much of his own money on a presidential election, either.

I agree with you, to a point; furthermore who's to say they'd even still be alive today? A 40 year old ob/gyn in 1961 would be 90 this year.
Having said that, I think there's an interesting contemporary counterpoint in what's become a part of US folklore. In September 1961, a month after Obama's alleged birth, a mixed race couple named Barney & Betty Hill alleged to have had what's become an archetypal alien abduction experience. Now, putting aside one's personal opinions or views on that subject, the overwhelming majority of articles that discuss the incident mention how unusual a mixed-race couple was at that time, and how that fact alone contributed to their reluctance to have their story widely publicized.
Growing up in the '70s and '80s, I had a casual interest in the subject, and virtually everything I read about the Hills mentioned they were a mixed-race couple and how noteworthy that was in the early '60s. Now you could argue that perhaps Hawaii was a little more 'open-minded' about such matters, but I would still argue that a Kenyan exchange student father and a teen-aged mother would still tend to stand out from amont the other births...

The problem is there are no verified documents with any such names’ There is one official looking document with names but that one is from a birth in Kenya. No way to validate that document since the Keyan government has sealed any and all related info. Strange that two governments each with a high ranking relative would perform the same act as to one of the relatives. As for me it is also strange that Kenya closed the barn door about the same time that 2 ships with relief supplies were on ththe way, one of which was hijacked for a few days. Adding to coincidences is that Ralm Immanuel around the time took an African vacation with a side trip to Kenya. There are many dots to be connected as to Obama

Interesting theory. I had not thought of that one (that Trump would be carrying the ball on this). I have wondered what the DNC was going to do, if faced with having to run him again since he is such a failure AND the whole “birther” issue has never been resolved, potentially throwing out his eligibility to be on the ballot, at least in some states.
You're right, the two newspaper announcements prove nothing, however they do support the COLB, and Barry's own book.
All three list Barry's father as Barack Obama. Let's just agree with the leftists contention that the they are factual. They all indicate Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Hawaii will NOT release a copy (certified or uncertified) of the COLB.
In addition, the internet COLB lists Obama’s father’s race as AFRICAN. That’s not a race.
If Trump wants to be Trump, he could start a new TV reality show...all centered on chasing down the missing docs, getting docs checked for authenticity, etc. Half the country would tune in and the WH would be yapping non-stop.

Perhaps. But would a mixed race birth have been all that uncommon on an island in the middle of the pacific? No Poly-White marriages for example?
I’m just saying, that for Hawaii at least, it may not have been uncommon, and therefore of no great importance for those in attendance to notice.

I agree, it is a big deal. But, if he is not an American citizen, then we have a Constitutional crisis on our hands. And, that will be horrible. Of course, it would be one way to get rid of Obamacare, and a couple of un-qualified Supreme Court Justices; but, the war that would be waged over this would be bloody.
I have often wondered myself why he just doesn't present the damned certificate. I first thought that perhaps he wants this controversy so that he could pummel republicans over the head with it. I am now wondering if he is hiding something, especially after the dimwit Governor of Hawaii decided, so publically, to find the birth certificate and present it --- only to find, the hospital can't find it (oh, wait, no the second excuse is that he is not the person of record, so he can't have the certificate -- right). The big thing would be not having been born in the United States. Second, maybe his parents were not actually married. I'm sure there could be other reasons; but, I give Trump credit for taking the flak and asking the questions.
