ources tell me that budget negotiators on Capitol Hill have tentatively agreed on a deal that would involve at least $33 billion in spending cuts from this years budget. Thats $23 billion dollars more than Democrats have previously agreed to in short-term continuingresolutions, and $28 billion less than Republicans previously passed in the House.
Members of the House Appropriations Committee will begin discussing how to hit that number with their Senate counterparts as soon as tonight, and Vice President Biden is heading to Capitol Hill for a 6pm meeting with the Senate Democratic leadership.

Still more RINOs to be voted out.
Yep. The GOP is committing suicide even as we speak.
Duh! Losing!
Sources tell me.... blah blah blah blah...
Quote “Still more RINOs to be voted out.”
Really? I don’t think it matters who is elected. They are all the same. Nothing changes.
People TALK about change but that is it. ALL TALK
Nothing is going to change - the nation is doomed and we are going down the drain.
Time to prioritize. Which are the worse ones?
Which are the most vulnerable?
Put their faces on a deck of playing cards.
Time to go after the RINOS.
Boehner has just turned out to be a female version of Nancy Pelosi.” Only pelosi has BALLS!
I disagree. The GOP owns ONLY the House of Reps. The Dems own the 2 power positions, the Senate and the Presidency. The Senate is more powerful than the House because of its filibuster/super-majority rules, and the President is more powerful because of the 2/3 requirement for an over-ride of a veto.
To get 33 Billion is peanuts in comparison to the debt, and it is a failure for the nation, but for the GOP it is better than getting nothing when they own just one of three prongs of the legislative process.
As always, the issue is getting a controlling majority in the Senate, which is 61 CONSERVATIVES, not just Republicans, and the Presidency.
That is what is so tragic about John McCain as the last nominee and the refusal of the Rove/Bush White House to defend itself.
They handed over the Senate and the Presidency.
Almost as if someone didn't want conservative change, so it was sabotaged.
I agree - but we have to accept that the economy and country have to crash. The productive need to shrug - just like in the novel.
We are screwed.
That old “B” should open up a school for our whimps in office to learn something......
Done with them all! No difference RINO’s/ Dims All BS posturing and getting time in the camera. Disgusting.
Only 33 billion in cuts vs total debt of 14 trillion. Can you say chump change? This is analagous to 2 guys fighting over the bar bill on the Titantic.
They were afraid Shumer was going to call them extremists.
Pray for America
The budget is spending $1.5 TRILLION more than the government is taking in and all they can agree upon is to cut less than 1% from the budget.
‘12 is going to be a Dims and RINO bloodbath.. I doubt they even have a clue.
Which critters deserve the blame for this????????????? Names, please.
Perfectly put.
If they don’t attempt to cut the budget they will really get the blame!
