Thank Heavens someone is speaking out. But where is the rest of the Republican Leadership? We're spending billions on this Libyan military intervention, and we're arming our most dangerous enemies! Al Qaeda must be thrilled. Meanwhile, we're cutting Medicare and the cost of living increases on social security, but funding this lunacy. We're throwing the elderly under the bus. Where is the outrage? America first!!

If we are going to be involved, what the Hell. I don't want to deny my fellow Americans a DCM rifle, but I think I remember a cache of M-1 Garands being taken off the disposable property list.
We would have no problem getting a few sneaky Petes NCOs and maybe some Gunnery Sergeants to teach a few of those kids to shoot these:
We must make then know, if and when they turn on us, we will have no choice but to nuke them. We will lose the weapon either way.
I hope the stories about the rebels' expressions of gratitude are true. I hate when a good feeling turns out to be based on something I am embarrassed to admit I ever believed.

Should be no harm in arming the libyan al-qaida mustlim-brotherhood rebels. After all, we’ve been giving million$ of ton$ of arms to Hamas in Gaza, and they never been used against us... or Israel, right?

Seems like this would be a great opportunity for a GOP candidate for President to stand up and define this mission, and ask questions about the “rebels”.
Where is Sarah Palin? I saw Michelle Bachman on the Today Show this morning, and she ate Matt Lauer’s breakfast for him. It was an impressive performance by Bachman. Presidential, one might say...

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) said in a statement Wednesday. "We need to understand more about the opposition before I would support passing out guns and advanced weapons to them. Its safe to say what the rebels stand againstBut it's in no way clear what they stand for.
Please, let's not be naive.

Mr. Rogers, I think we can safely make some educated guesses on this. It sure won't be a good day in the neighborhood if we sell arms to our enemies.
