For most people a $30,000 car is out of reach, while others don’t think twice about spending three or four times more on a ride. But even those enthusiasts may not be interested in signing the checks when faced with the price tag that the glamorous Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 Super Sport comes with. This is the most expensive car in the world as of 2011, and is obviously bought by people who don’t flicker an eyelid in any economy.

So many super cars come and go, all claiming to be the fastest. But even five years after the original version came out; Bugatti Veyron remains the most powerful and the fastest car in the world today, and not just the most expensive car. It defines luxury and of course a fat bank account. I can only imagine, but I’m sure nothing can beat the pleasure of cruising around in the legendary 1,200 horsepower Super Car, the Bugatti Veyron.

Doesn't matter. Get that little puppy up to 250 mph and you can coast a long way after you run out of gas.

There’s a video on YouTube in which a pro takes the Bugatti up to 400 kph (258.5 mph) and holds it there on some kind of track or autobahn. Once he gets it 400, he says “at this speed, the tires will overheat in 12 minutes” or something on that order.
That’s a lot of money for a VW.
If Obama tried ti drive this beast he wouldn’t last more than a mile or two before the crashed! Bambi, here are the keys!
I’m my younger days i hit 149 in my Supra turbo a few times.
Car and Driver stated top speed of 149 so i had to find out.
Yup, 149 on the dot redlined in 5th gear.
Scary as hell.

Defiantly droolworthy, and even “Captain Slow” took it to it’s limit in Germany. On the want list...
Even if I had vast amounts of money, I couldn’t see buying a car like this. It’s a little too ‘look at me!!’.
Come to think of it- the more money I had, the less I’d want to look like it- the more invisible I’d want to be.
I’ll wait for the Volkswagon Veyron kit car.

I don't care how amazing this car is, I can think of lots of things more pleasurable.
Can barely make out the plates...TEXAS...Geesh...This happened right down the freeway from our nieghborhood...
