A government shutdown means a paid vacation for most government workers. I’ve never seen one yet where Congress didn’t make up the missed pay, without requiring makeup of the missed work.
Absolutely...those whinning need to consider...one week is nothing...give it to them but more importantly funding for troops til September is a good trade.
Paid vacation my ass. We’ve been told by upper management we will be sent home without pay, and that we will NOT be paid retro-actively for time missed. If you’re going to go after an easy target, and least load your ammo right.
