"A Donald Trump-Mitt Romney showdown in New Hampshire
Looks like Donald Trump's win-the-birthers strategy is working in New Hampshire — and that’s coming at the expense of front-runner Mitt Romney.
Romney leads the first-in-the-nation primary contest in a multitude of scenarios involving difference candidates, often by as much as a 2-1 margin, according to a survey out Tuesday from Public Policy Polling. But when Trump gets into the race, Romney’s edge shrinks to 6 points, 27 percent to 21 percent.
If Trump isn't included in the survey, Romney draws 32 percent of the vote, with Mike Huckabee a distant second at 15 percent.
The difference is the birthers: The Democratic polling shop found that Trump leads Romney among those who doubt President Barack Obama’s citizenship 22 percent to 21 percent. A previous PPP survey found that 42 percent of New Hampshire GOPers don't believe Obama was born in America.
The survey of 384 Republican primary voters in the state has a sampling error of plus or minus 5 percent."

I don’t believe Trump actually wants to run. I believe his focus is just getting the usurper out of our White House and destroy him in the process.
Trump is a capitalist, I could only imagine how much money he lost w/ this thing running our country.
Personally, just MHO, I think he is doing it for Sarah so she doesn’t have to get her hands “dirty”. He see’s, as we all do, what she has been and is being put through already.
I truly believe he is taking this heat for her. Again, just MHO, which doesn’t amount to much. Could be wishful thinking as well.....but Trump is all about him and his money.
I need to find out more about Trump and his intentions on other issues, but at this point I'd be inclined to choose Trump if it came down to him or Romneycare.
Is Trump even close to being a perfect candidate? Of course not.
Overall, he's a better (more successful) businessman that Romney. The social issues are important, but are 2nd (or even 3rd) tier issues right now. Our national debt and a usurper as a Commander in Chief are far more critical right now.
Furthermore, it's becoming quit clear that Trump is much more like Reagan than Romney when it comes to not giving a damn about what the press or the lefties think or say about him. We need someone who is not afraid to stand up to the RAT's and state run media. I'm not convinced that Romney wouldn't cave on an even somewhat regular basis.

I just remember Trump bashing Bush 43...he seems to me to be like Bill O’Reilly or Mike Huckabee: an opportunist and sometime populist. Not really a good political thinker.
Now the opportunist label might also be applied to Romney...BUT I think Romney has been in the arena before, and though his star has dimmed for me, I think he is a better candidate than Trump. Trump is a media whore. But in a good way. :)
