Live thread: Wisconsin Supreme Court election - Prosser vs Kloppenburg

This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.

I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.

Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!

204 votes is probably one hour’s worth of fraud in either Milwaukee or Dane.

Bring in the heavy hitters and go through the vote recount with a fine toothed comb. It should be a circus and also a target rich enviroment for fraud.

When a voter sees a registration area at a polling place and sees several voters going back to re register; something is wrong. When it is reported and the polling clowns say it’s none of our business something is wrong.

Get the heavy hitters in there and if the dem wins don’t let her in until this mess has been straightened out.

David Prosser (I) 739,886 49.99%
JoAnne Kloppenburg 740,090 50.01%

Let the recount begin!

I think same day registration operated in Wisconsin long before the Clintons. It’s boing to be a bitch to get it repealed. In fact, Rusty Feingold introduced a Bill nationally to get it adopted throughout the country “because it works so well in Wisconsin” a couple of months before the voters of Wisconsin retired him in 2010.

I Stand with Scott Walker
BREAKING VOTER FRAUD: Poll workers conducting registration on election day, voting, then registering again to vote. High school students registering other high school students under 18. When complained, the poll worker said mind your own business.

It appears that this may have been heaviest in the liberal safehaven of Dane County, where Madison is located. Kloppenburg’s margin was over 100,000 more than Prosser. During the count last night the county ‘accidentally’ added 10,000 additional votes to her total before retracting them.

Do you have a source?

The problem is, even if they prove that this is true, there is no way to correct this fraud after the election has been held. Once the votes are cast, the votes are cast and there is no way to take them back.

I think that there may be some provision that if it is found that 4 votes were illegally cast, then they would reduce the total vote by taking 2 from each candidate. Won’t change the vote total at all.

We used to be able to “challenge” the voter if we suspected fraudulent activity, but that guard was removed last year. If a poll worker “challenges” a voter, the voter can sue the poll worker. Even if a challenge is succesful, the only remedy is that the ballot is held out at the end of the evening as a provisional ballot and not cast with the others. The voter has the opportunity to show up at city hall by 4 pm the following day with proper ID. If it is proven that they are whom they say they are and are eligible to vote, THEN their ballot is added to those already cast.

Watch for more votes to be added to these totals in the next few days as the provisionals are cleared.

You must have gone to pubic school.

The deficit is 204 votes.

204 vote margin on 1.5M votes. Given the frequency of Democrat fraud, I predict, contrary to every one here, a Prossner victory on recount.

What I went to was Not Enough Morning Coffee After Staying Up ‘Til 2am PDT On This Thread Last Night School.

BTW, you will find numerous arithmetic errors on this thread by others following the race closely last night even when their minds were still fresh. Nobody, until your remark to me, ever made one shitty comment about such errors.

But then I guess none of them attended How To Be An Asshole School.

Normally at FR humor about the quality of pubic schools is welcome.

It is when under stress (lack of sleep, etc.) that a person’s character is revealed. Put another way: it is always good advice when feeling a bit whiney to lighten up, reach deep inside, and not allow a lack of sleep to cause oneself to be sour and humorless.

I would think that depending on just what exactly the opposition is suing over, That this could end up in the SCOTUS. AS of now, I think they are only suing over what they consider to be a violation of the WI open meeting law. But if they sue over whether the WI legislature has the power to legislate the bargaining rights, this could end up in the high court.

In that case, a “:)” or a “;)” at the end of the public school remark would have been a clue that it was intended to be humor.

Put another way, it is advisable when expressing one’s thoughts through a medium in which there is no availability of tonal inflections or facial expressions to use whatever is available to make one’s intention - dare I say? - clear. That way, the speaker doesn’t feel compelled to reach down into himself or herself to conjure a further insult to the “listener” by challenging his or her character for failing to read the speaker’s mind instead of merely reading the words placed before him or her by that same speaker.

As for public schools, I’ll wager most here attended them.........decades back when a public school education was still meaningful and advantageous to a student’s future.
