Bail was denied today for a woman accused of fatally shooting a man because she thought he had given her a sexually transmitted disease.

A lawyer for Ashley Nicole Steele, 21, argued that she grew up a ward of the state, has a 10th grade education and suffers from bipolar disorder.

My apologies for going medical, but the best research says it takes 500-100 instances of unprotected vaginal intercourse with an HIV+ man for a woman to become infected (Google “Padian AIDS Berkeley”).

Unless she took it unprotected in the back door, or shared needles, I’d say that when you hear hoofbeats, you should think “horses” and not “zebras.”

I finally went and read the article, it was herpes. The incident started when another woman knocked on his door after learning she had herpes.

So this woman picked up the infected (so to be dead) guys gun and shot him 3 times, robbed him, then went to Walmart.

The shooter actually didn’t know if she had contracted anything.
