Dirty tricks in Wisconsin? Ballots being thrown away in heavily pro-Prosser county
Washington Examiner ^ | 6/6/11 | Mark Tapscott

Posted on 04/06/2011 7:01:17 PM PDT by Nachum

Right on schedule, allegations that somebody committed voter fraud or other election illegalities in yesterday's Wisconsin Supreme Court balloting are being heard this afternoon in a county that voted heavily for incumbent conservative Justice David Prosser. Pundit Press, which closely followed the election balloting yesterday, offers this analysis: "As if the situation in Wisconsin wasn't tense enough, it appears that one county in particular is going to a new extreme. This comes after word that there may have been voter fraud in the nonpartisan State Supreme Court election yesterday between incumbent

And why wouldn’t this be happening? Each election they grow more brazen and the republicans quake in fear at the idea of calling them on it.

That’s why secretary of state races and appointments are so important. Secretary of state was one of our biggest wins in Michigan this year. We’ve already got two democrat bigwigs facing several fraud charges and an investigation is ongoing.

I’m sure the Justice Dept. will be investigating these charges of voter fraud, since Eric Holder is such a fine Attorney General. (mega-sarc)

The Republicans are in on it. They don't give a crap.

They just sit back and let the Democrats "find" votes.

It's not an accident. The GOP never fights back because they don't care.

Yep. Besides, they know it is the only way they can win, and since they are “nice people”, the end justifies the means.

If Wisconsin citizens had any sand, this would end like The Battle of Athens, TN. But it won't. They will roll over for tyranny, just like the rest of America.

Ok, people - you need to know exactly what happened - and how this might be a blessing in disguise. A kid from Mequon who attends college out of the area went to register to vote and request and absentee ballot. His father went with him. They registered the kid to vote, and he got his ballot, filled it out and returned it.

Shortly thereafter, the family was contacted by the clerk's office and they said the kid needed to provide a driver's license in order for his vote to be counted. The dad assumed he could provide this information on election day, and in fact presented a copy of his son's driver's license when he went to vote. He was told he was "too late" and that the kid's ballot had been shredded - a clear violation of the law.

What I need to know is this - is the driver's license thing a "standard" requirement? Because I believe we could get tons of provisional votes tossed in Milwaukee Co. if that is the case. I hardly think they are very careful about registering voters in some areas, and probably did not expect that it would come under scrutiny because they truly did not expect that the vote would be so close.

Check out this post I found as a comment on one of James T Harris' facebook posts:

Monica Suemnicht Sage Starwalker Congratulations! And a heads up for Wisconsin students, via the Ed Schultz Show: "Repost via Nick Ganser: If you are a student who voted in Wisconsin with a provisional ballot because you registered for the first time and did... not b...ring your driver's license or proof of residency, make sure you get that information to the municipal clerk's office in Madison, on MLK Drive downtown, by 4:00 today or your vote will not count in the recount. Your vote quite literally could determine the outcome."

Mark Belling, the occasional replacement host for Rush Limbaugh, has issued a statement:
I have filed a Wisconsin Open records request with the City of Mequon demanding any ballot submitted but not cast in yesterday's election, including any remnant of a shredded ballot. We have received reports Mequon poll workers destroyed submitted ballots before poll closing time, demanding a driver’s license number from the absentee voter. This request is unusual and the destruction of ballots is of grave concern, given the closeness of the state Supreme Court election. I will consider seeking an injuction to back up my request if Mequon officials are not copperative [sic]. Mark Belling, April 6, 2011

That’s why secretary of state races and appointments are so important. Secretary of state was one of our biggest wins in Michigan this year.

This is why $oros launched the Secretary of State Project. After 2000 and the Fla recount Soros saw the importance of getting in his stooges as secretaries of states. That's why the country is saddled with Frankinberry in the Senate. It's why virtually every recount always goes to the progressive. (Case in point CT governor's race)

We defeated one of the worst of the SOS project candidates. Jocelyn Benson was groomed to steal elections. Now She’s very likely one of those under investigation here in Michigan.

We did not get here over night. It will take 2 -3 election cycles to rid the GOP of RINOS, and it will never be done to the extent we on this site would like.

But we ( the Tea folk) are new. Inspired hard hitting rookies. Were playing like it’s our last game we will ever be in. We have to

Of course there was vote fraud. Makes no difference. Rats never get caught and it never changes the election results in the correct way.

Regardless of this unfortunate vote outcome, can’t WI Republicans just repass the union bill now that Democrats are back ?
